IMO, the image of those steel boats sitting there torn up and battered all to hell like that is more evocative to me than the bell at Whitefish Point. It really drives home the power storms like the one that sank the Fitz can put out. One of these days I will go here to see those boats with my own eyes.
It looks like there are Edmund Fitzgerald artifacts all over. My question is, who took the artifacts from the Edmund Fitzgerald and transported them to the Valley Camp?

most of the artifacts (including the lifeboats) came to shore on their own!...washed ashore after the Fitz went down.
