this new CDJ it will not sell or be as popular as the CDJ1000MK3, a lot of peole play with serato so it is kind of pointless to get this one. i have the CDJ1000mk3 n DJM 800 with serato SL3 thats all I need! and I am not changing it for anything, at least for now!

How are the cues and loops made with rekord box used in the cdj 900?

I dont see any kind of hot cue buttons nor any information in the videos about cdj 900 I've found in the internet...

@Desostoa Cues and loops can be called from the player, there are no HOT CUES with the CDJ-900, only memory cue points and loops.

@Desostoa Download the manual. There are hot cues that you can set up in recordbox.....a,b,c that is on your pioneer cdj 900.

Forget the 2000s, 900s do all you really need for £400 less.

@ecotts Ebay, Got a good £300 off RRP on second deck.

Bought the first from a UK dealer and have had a few issues, got a foreign one off ebay and had no problems (admittedly had to buy a plug adaptor for about £3 but considering the money I saved I didn't begrudge it)

They were a foreign wholesalers with an office in the UK, so didn't have to pay duty or anything.

£1100 for my UK, £880 for other.

Obviously always check the sellers rep.

There aren't any "Effects" on any of the top-end Pioneer players and no, it's not to encourage people to "throw their money" into a more expensive player, it's about creating a product which differentiates itself from the others. Gotta make these things marketable!
