@MsFanmail sadly she was killed off in teh early 2000's so it would be hard tio bring her back. It wasnt for want of trying though apparently- they asked several times over the years but Anita didnt want too :(

@EEandCorrieFan Angie was killed off, in 2002 I think it was. Anita Dobson is still alive and well but had no desire to return to the show as Angie, despite many years of being asked. So the then producers/writers decided that they would kill Angie off which brought adopted daughter Sharon Watts back to the square once more.

@pluto1111777  i think i saw her in an interview or read an interview with her but she said they had asked her on many ocassions to come back but she claimed she never would return as it would only spoil the character and right she was-look how the comeback destoyed dirty den.Anyway anita will never be short of money,she's married to 1 of the richest men in Britain-brian may who was in the rich list at a massive personal worth of 70 million quid!

Great song. I remember back in 1986, aged 11 having a dilemma as to which record I should buy. Anita Dobson: Anyone Can Fall In Love or Lulu; Shout (1986 version). I loved both songs but in the end I chose Lulu. In hindsight this was a mistake.
