  • Imagine if Nissan made a jet airplane.... The Nissan JT-R Spec V

  • Commercial airliners next?

  • test flight is fake, I bet Honda have already tested the planes using remote control technology, they just perform a staged 'First time flight' for public relation reasons and get the test pilots advertise

  • Put the landing gear up idiot

  • @BlueDevilsGoalie77 Your really gonna assume you know more then the pilots?...typical youtube idiot. Being how its a test flight for the first time ever I think i'd keep it down also.

  • @BlueDevilsGoalie77 lmao, its a test flight they usually keep the landing gear down

  • @BlueDevilsGoalie77 even when the first flight of Concorde some years back, the pilot didn't retract the landing gear. it's kinda like a standard procedure

  • Lol size of a 172

  • Ugly Honda sucks

  • beautiful jet!

    how much it cost??

  • Fixed undercarriage eh.

  • Hmm wheel out ? all flight time ? wtf

  • Hi all anyone knows the song that starts at 1:13?.

    Thanks.

  • @turbo3oh You don't know engineers, and you don't know history. Neither Japan nor China would have anything that anyone would want to buy if it weren't for one American, Dr. W. Edwards Deming.

  • only if the price was as much as a Civic!!!

  • finally vtec kicked as hard as it could

  • so small but very unique design, dear santa

  • This is a long, amazing corporate evolution from mopeds.

  • Does someone know what is the name of the song that starts at 1:13 thanks all..!!

    God Bless.

  • Subaru was aircraft maker to begin with before they started car business. Subaru's parent company still produces aircraft for defense force.

Mitsubishi was making aircraft since ww2 along with Subaru.

  • Producing aircraft had been Honda founder's dream ever since. Toyota once developed aircraft engine based on their Lexus engine and got FAA type certificate. Nissan also secretly doing something toward aviation/space field starting way back. All I hope is they will bring price break in the industry near future.

  • does version 1.0 not come with retractable gear?

  • asimo honda robotics. man they will conquer the world.

  • Whats next? the honda mini space shuttle?

  • Great VLJ Airplane, Honda! Can't wait to ride in one someday!

  • Look at the people on the video, mostly americans once the japanese get the technology the know how they will take it to JAPAN to be built or if it's built in the USA they will hire low salary employees and from medium level up to the ceo will be only japananese, believe me they will do just that while they learn once they learn they will just improve to screw the US companies.

  • @pepealvarez tech development is joint...but the the important decisions are made in HQ in Japan...since that's the source of funding. You don't know shite.

  • @pepealvarez

you are a moron. the americans and test pilots are from FAA. all the designers and engineers are japanese...cry me a river. america copies all their new car designs from japan. buick even admitted it. get off your high horses and show racism to something else - ps i m black man.

  • @freebird20002012 If that's true, how come some many Japanese cars look like copies of German cars?

  • @upajos

You must be kidding me. mercedes and bmw still looked like boxes when infiniti came up with radical designs. now mercedes and bmw are trying to catchup. i mean compare a 2003 mercedes with a 2003 infiniti. infiniti created rear view camera. lexus created auto parallel park system in 2007 (toyota for prius in 2004) and now finally bmw/hyundai recreates it lol.

  • @freebird20002012 No, I'm not kidding you. No offense, but you sound like you're in your 20s, by the comments you make here. I've been watching the engineering and design scene for over 40 years. All of what you speak was done elsewhere first in countries other than Japan. The Japanese are great imitators, but not so great innovators. It's a cultural thing.

  • @upajos they make great cars, lawn equipment, robots, f1 cars, indy cars, boats, construction equipment, medical equipment and motors for trains and u say that they are imitators? name another automotive company that makes as much money, is in as many fields, is all about the consumer and is about our planet as honda..... you cant huh?

  • @turbo3oh Toyota ,Mitsubishi ,Hyundai

  • Need to add a VTEC!!!

  • Buyer beware: I have experience buying Hondas. If this plane is anything like our Odyssey van, the salesperson will tell you how friggin' reliable Hondas are for, like hours and hours. Then you sign the sales agreement and all of a sudden they tell you that things don't run forever and tend to break and you'd better buy that optional warranty or else you'll be stuck buying a new motor or tranny at 85k mi. Blah blah blah. Just sayin'. Buyer beware... ;-D

  • @jsteiger2228

You based your argument on what a car salesman told you? Really!?

  • @jsteiger2228 That's just BS. A Honda with minimum care will outlast the payments, if you have to finance it. I have had 6 Hondas over the years and a couple in the driveway now. I don't really care to drive anything else, I know these cars are ready to go when I need them.

  • @gonetoworkbbackin5mi So you have 2 Hondas then? One to drive and one for spare parts?? X-D --- I'm kidding, I'm kidding...

  • @jsteiger2228 you didn't actually compare a van to a private jet did you?........... :|

  • you never do that frist flight

  • I'll buy one

  • Why did they not extract the wheels in flight?

  • @sklaterjd They keep them down on initial test flights.

  • @sklaterjd The wheels are left in the gear down position for an emergency. they also add drag to the aircraft allowing the pilots to push the engines further..

  • @sklaterjd on the first test flight of any aircraft they never put the gear up, because it is not part of the schedule item to test for the first test flight, usually it is a short test and it's basically to see if the plane will fly or not, to see if it's stable or not so the gear is not a concern at that time

    cheers

  • @sklaterjd FAA testing regulations. Test flights always have to keep landing gear down as a safety feature. Subsequent flights will allow wheels up. If you remember even the space shuttle did this. Same FAA rules.

  • american honda made this product.

  • @NippleOfNippon

the chief design engineer for this project is japanese.

  • The Power of Dreams.

  • toyota needs to start build jts now!

  • toyota cant think of making jets east or west honda is the best

  • vtec kicks in at 2:04 lol

  • no spoilers !!!

  • Very Impressive! Keep up the Good Work =)

  • If Honda can deliver the quality to a jet that they give to their cars, I would love to own one!

  • does it have vtec? i dont want it if it doesnt have vtec....hahaha jk jk.. pretty badass jet.. someone on another video had a pretty funny comment "finally.. a honda that actually NEEDS a big wing" lol

  • @rcrocker02 Hey LOL now remiember honda had F1 cars, aswell as J1GT honda NSX they had big wings LOL

  • Well .. Where is any e-shop for this aviette?

  • now honda can fly

  • im so proud of being japanese. I think if we seriously try to develop the technology, we can lead the world. But I know we cant because of the stupid government.lol Go Honda!!

  • @mohiJr Japanese are awesome! they also make toyotas and nissans which I love =)
