No way! Think you might be the same dude I was racing the other night on the A45, saturday at about 11:00pm? I was driving a C2 Loeb ;) crawled my way past you haha, nothing in it though really. Although im sure your twingo would dance all over mine in the corners.
@ukpenn Yeah I agree with you on the track thing, but that twingo provoked me! anyway I frequently drive around the roads in this vid, so i'll keep an eye out for you!
@iimatty They are really great cars and I guarantee you'd love it. You can really have some fun in them as you need to work the gears well to get the most out of the car (peak power is at 6600rpm I believe). Due to them not being stupidly quick, you really can drive it hard without losing your license - B roads will certainly become your best friends ;)
i am thinking of getting this, the suzuki swift sport, fiat panda 100hp or the mazda 2 takuya. i think this has the best speed and acceleration but all these cars have the same negatives - refinement. apparently the ride is stiff and noisy. then again, until now i've only owned a tigra and punto so not sure i'd notice.
how does this car sound as standard? does both the engine and the exhaust make a nice sound if i accelerate hard through town?
i'm thinking of getting one too, i'm a bit worried though about the harsh ride that all the reviews moan about, is it really that bad? also that dashboard design looks rather awful
@watkinscopicat You have a choice of the cup chassis remember. I don't think it's harsh at all but I'd take a slightly harsh ride for better grip/feel/handling over comfort any day so maybe I'm not the best person to ask :)
I'd advise test driving one with the cup chassis as that's as harsh as the ride in a Twingo gets.
Awsome little car! For all you dumbasses talking shit about it i don't think he said anything about how good or bad it is he's just giving a sort of tour of it. I personally think it's a really sporty, quick little car and I wish my SportKa had 130hp stock, although it's a surprisingly quick and fun to drive car. Haters fuck off.
you drive fast or is it the turbo spooling up. because my average MPG on my 200 CUP is 38 and it,s done 4300 miles. anyway it,s my first time as a renaultsport owner and i think there fantastic. looking at these 133 cup for another car for the missis to get to work. lol. sick of her driving position in the 200 cup never mind her music cd,s.
It's a 1.6 naturally aspirated engine, no turbo. You have to drive it hard to get the power and with it only having 5 gears, motorway journeys still don't yield amazing MPG. I do like to drive it hard too, especially with my new exhaust, sounds sexual!
are you satisfied with it?

@slinkey123 Definitely wasn't me, I wasn't out at that time and I don't race on public roads, that's what a track is for ;)
Noticed your C2 video on Westwood business park though, that's my daily commute!

I can definitely see these cars as becoming the next Saxo/106 for all of us young owners.
Sporty, cheap & they look really cool.

Would absoloutly love one of these.
Defo would be a car I could get myself in the near future.

Keep fishing, twingo remains a proletarian car with performance that come with it.
Better to remain pedestrian as to drive a Renault
