my favorite seagrave covers are MC- stillborn, erosion of sanity, andseance - fornever laid to rest. demented ted fucking rules btw and that indrustial band theyt formed after this was called beyond and it Sucked.
Great vid. Props for remembering Demented Ted. The "Swedish Chainsaw" (NOT gothenburg) sound can be found with a bunch of worthy bands. Fleshcrawl, Deomonical, Evocation. Check it out. Great fucking vid.
there is an obscure death metal band from Mexico called Dark Half and its awesome they sound like a Swedish band but its awesome its also old school check them out I think there are videos on youtube from the LP they made
@TheNECROMARE and he did "Altars of Madness" by morbid angel, "The Key" by Nocturnus, "Waking into Nightmares" by Warbringer, and he's even done the new Demon Hunter album...
I never actually picked up Promises Impure, but I was interested to hear that they didn't record the full length with Scott Burns. I'm guessing they probably paid a lot to do the demo with Burns and then nobody picked them up for the necessary continued funding. Another track on the demo is Geneticide. I can't remember the other 2 tracks off the demo, but from what I've heard of PI, I definitely prefer the sound and style of the demo.
I used to work for the lead singer/guitarist's (Ron) family's burger joint in Evanston, IL back in the early '90s. Yeah, they're from the Chicago area. I actually have a demo on cassette they recorded with Scott Burns at Morrisound prior to the Promises Impure release. The demo includes 4 songs, one of which is Psychopathology. The vocal style is considerably different between the two. PI is much more gutteral whereas the demo sounds more like David Vincent on Altars of Madness.
Bosmetal, Demented Ted is from Villa Park Illinois and after Ted they released another death metal (kinda) album under the name "Beyond", I believe on the same label. Then came the Industrial Band "DragStar". 3 of the 4 original members are now the band "Honey" you can check em' out on MySpace.
Another oldschool D/M band who's vocalist reminds me of early Chuck is the dude from Morgoth (Germany). Have you checked out Gorguts? Great Canadian band, released some cool shit back in the early '90s. Awesome reviews!
Awesome. Thanks for the reviews. I own both albums. I would get the Resurrection reissue. Just need to find it in the FYE store that I go to. As for Demented Ted, the album is availible at the Crash Music (formally Pavement Music) website. Also, the band formed after breaking up was called Beyond. They did an album called Reassemble. That should be availible at Crash Music website as well. Hails.
haha death metal, haven't listened to that stuff in a long time, but i remember liking it a lot. yo there is this one PA band (they are broken up now however), they are called Dissian, if u get the chance check them out they are pretty good
Demented Ted \m/ \m/ can anyone help me get it on mp3? my cassete tape is no longer working lol.

A good person to compare Resurrection's vocalist to is Atrocity's Alex Krull. Their vocals are identical at times.
