Nice Modell, better than the Playmates Version, but still cannot compete with the AMT Ertl Versions of some Model Builders. The Warp Nacell connections of this one look just to fat/toyish, dont understand why they cant make it more real...
I LOVE this model. I've had two, but both were faulty. The one I have now is terrible. The plastic on the saucer is warped and the two sides of the saucer wont stay joined together. I'm taking this one back too..:-(
OMG The Ships you have are amazing The Art is better than Playmates they look more cartoons thans Ships I need to get The Defiant and Voyager and The Enterprise - and The Galaxy Refit and The Prometheus Moslt a hole new Colection.
OMG I have to get that one The Enterprise E and Refit Galaxy and I hope that they come out with Prometheus and Voyager just like that OMG thats so awsome.

Pity all the lights are black... they could have drilled out some of them for light to go out through, but for a detail model that costs under $1000 (no typo), the price is excellent indeed.
Would you mind posting a video of them side by side? I've been searching for such a comparison for ages, to no avail.
Please get in close and compare the detail.
I've been wondering (with my brain *points*), providing the scale is similar enough, if I could perhaps 'canonise' some parts of the DST model with leftovers of my butchered and lost '87 ERTL model, if I ever find it.
I extracted the sound from the video simply because he was very loud with other things going on in the house, I'll post one with the sounds later today.
