It was even confessed, that Blizzard was going to make a 40K game but Games Workshop backed out. And don't even tell me that the game's gameplay is ripped off of Gears of War, which uses a cover system. Epic even said that Gears of War was INSPIRED by 40K. 40K inspired the original Space Marine, and the game is a good representation of their combat prowess.
