Thanks to Vostorgina for this noble tribute. I agree and admire Vostorgina for her gentle comprehension - that any excessive grief is not useful for anybody....better, as she said, is thinking about today´s Christos Voskrese....thank you, Vostorgina! Many greeting from Natali, an ordinary ukrain-czech woman devoted to Christos.
If there ever was a monk and Archpastor who should be considered for canonization, it is Vladyka Metropolitan Laurus. He struggled, he suffered, he ultimately triumphed! I now will pray to him for my sinful self and for all who, like him, never shun the podvigs given to us. May his memory be eternal!
I desired to get something up as quickly as possible. Vladyki Laurus was the most prominent Orthodox churchman in the US, and he was a tireless advocate of unity of all Russian Orthodox Christians in this country. We should honour his memory by coming together into one united Russian Orthodox Church in the USA. Anything less would not be grasping the legacy he left for us.
Vechnaya pamyat! I once saw Vladyka at Bishop Peter's ordination. Thank you for this video.

Он умер в Праздник Торжества Православия. Эту точку в его жизни поставил Бог, это очевидно. Великий человек! Царствие ему Небесное и вечная память.

The Episopal Church of USA has close ties with Russian Orthodoxy...we share a common Communion. I share your loss.
After my mom passed away, the Episcopal rememberance service was 'Eastern Rites.' It was a 'living request' she wanted and knew I'd appreciate.
