I first heard Robert Francis about a year ago. I came across it at random on myspace. I clicked to listen and fell in love. Im so happy that I did because I probably would have never heard of him if I wasn't bored and clicked on it...which is a shame. HIs name should be out there. Probably in my top 3 on artists going now. He blows my mind.

I saw him at Mercury Lounge in NYC...barely 150 people there...wtf???? he should be headlining...mega venues! well I for one...appreciated the initimacy of the venue...but was just amazed that I was actually there...hanging out with him...after the show...sharing a few drinks together...he is such an amazing person...

@Hoohaa61 i agreee. i think it's because he has that old style ssound for sure that no one likes it and wants more Lady gaga and justin beiber but i for sure love his music. i listen to him weekly and it never fails to put me in a calm mood and think.

I completely agree! Why do people criticize when they hear a sad melody or have meaningful lyrics? for example "fag" or "you're gay dude" I'm a guy and I love this type of music, it has so much meaning in the lyrics and song.
