  • Has he eat on his own yet?

  • HOW THIS LITTLE GUY DOING????

  • He's doing well. Update vid coming this weekend. Thanks for asking

  • to all the people commenting that think changing the type of rodent offered will get him to feed: that is not always the case. I have a hatchling who is refusing to eat ANYTHING, no matter what type of rodent, f/t or live, no matter what method I use. So I have to force feed her. Some snakes just don't understand the concept of food so early on and force feeding them is the only option. This guy seems like he's doing a great job with this little guy. Good luck!

  • oh yeah and good look hope things work out

  • im surt e u no what ur doin but like u i too purchased most of mine as hatchlings and not one time have any of them ever ate a pinky i will never try a pinky get a fuzzy and a rat pup put them both in his tub put it somwhere dark and warm and leave it there all day thats what has worked for my stubborn ones

  • Not a rat with fur on it, AN AFRICAN FURRED RAT.. look for them at the next show you go to

  • Awsome deal but i think your best bet to get him to eat is to try a baby FURRED RAT... don't force feed unless he regects the furred meal

  • What an awesome deal. Good luck trying to get him to eat!

  • Try feeding him diffrent types of mice or maybe gerbils.... I really hope it turns out good :[ good luck man!

  • nice pin good luck man

  • lets hope he eats, God bless you for taking him

  • my advise is try feedin him once and then if he doesnt take it leave him alone for a couple weeks but im sure u already have a plan lol good luck :)

  • Best of luck!! Hope he decides to eat for you on his own.

  • Me too, thank you

  • he is awesome hope he feeds for u good luck and keep us updated.

  • Thanks a lot

  • He is really sweet - I hope you can get him to eat. Keep us updated. Good luck!

  • Thanks and I will keep u all updated

  • you don't need luck. you already have enough. you got a free pin. i'm sure he'll eat eventually. but if not good luck with the feeding.

  • You really need to assist him now.

  • Good Luck!! Such A Sweet Looking Snake,I Heard People Putting The Feeder In Chicken Broth Never Did It,Good Luck On That Pinny 5*

  • Good luck dude, Hope it will take if it comes to force feeding.

  • Thank you, I really hope he will at least take it with an assist feed and I wont have to force feed.

  • i have a special technique that works pretty well for pickey feeders. Fist take a page of newspaper and crumple it up into a ball then put it, the snake and a hopper into a tub and let the newspaper expand out to fill the tub pretty well, then leave them overnight. Soemthing about being touched on all sides by the newspaper makes then feel secure, and they almost always eat.

  • Bro, thanks a lot. This is the first time I hear of this method. The mod of the BP forum I frequent recommended it too but you were the first one to give me that tip. I tried it last night, over night but it was a no go. But I wont give up on the first try. I will try again on Friday.

  • ya, on one of my hathclings it took three times with this method before he finally got it, but it deffinetly helps. You just have to cross your fingers and hope that the stars align.

  • he was probably bitten my a mouse or whatever so its scared to eat hope everthing comes through man

  • yo that sounds like such a great plain. i really hope he eats. and if the snake doesnt want to eat at first i would go through all the methods of trying to get babies to eat even thought he might have tried them in the past.

  • good luck with feeding man i have a female that is a hard feeder lil pastel man she is SOhard to feed

  • lucky

  • I will consider myself lucky if he eventually eats on its own. You can only force feed a hatchling so many times and if he doesnt want to eat then he wont thrive and it will die

  • i heard gerbils trigger feeding

  • good luck

  • Thanks!

  • and you got a 300 dallor snake for free

  • yea but anything that does not eat is not worth that money. He pretty much wanted to get rid of it. I dont blame him, he has many other snakes to take care of and having a hatchling not eat can be very frustrating

  • FOR FREE!!!!!!!!! O MY GOD!!!!!!

  • Yes free but it will be a huge pain not seeing him eat or even worst...die. I really hope he comes through

  • btw good luck with feeding

  • Thank you

  • O sweet! Pinstripe are my FAVORITE morph!
