1.8 is so much easier, easy mushroom farming, stackable food, and a small quantity of food will keep you at full health for a long time...if I ran out of bread I just ate rotten flesh cause there's so much of it. Your hunger bar turns green but there are no negative consequences and it regens health!

@draconoxisful well my fav four towers becomes incredibly easy if you do it in 1.8-1.0. it is a bunch of towers full of zombies from 1.3 but it works to 1.7 and the new items are extremely useful wjen you gottz fight 50-60 zombies to disable one spawner

@TalkySteak he can't use his old world anymore, there is too much stuff in it that got broken with the 1.8 patch. The legendary maps aren't taking the place of his LP btw (as he has said many times. The Legendary series is just giving him some videos to put out in between LPs.Also, he is starting a brand new minecraft LP, It is going to be slow, just like every new LP series.(btw, im not trying to be mean, you are obviously a great fan of Etho just like me)

From the way i remember with the minecraft difficulty levels, 'Hard' means less mobs but they are harder to kill, 'Normal' means lots of mobs that are regular level to kill. I play all my maps on 'Normal' and when i played this you pretty much couldn't walk through it without getting attacked by a mob every step you took.

@ray73864 From personal experience as well as reading the minecraft wiki, I actually think that normal and hard both have the same spawn rates, you just take more damage and monsters are harder to kill in hard.

Honestly Ethos, I really like your LP, and these adventure maps are great, but this episode was pretty boring. It'd be alot better if you played these maps in the pre release or 1.8 [ i know this one was designed for before 1.8], or played maps designed for the most recent updates. The reason I'd prefer either more LP episodes or more recent updates is because your LP episodes are innovative, and the recent updates made combat more interesting, and less a bunch of really fast clicking.

Etho, there's no need to make a minetrack through caves of confusion, Vechs gives you ways to go from intersection 2 to 3 easily.
