  • @devwhit yeah workin on perfecting my ghost notes i asked my perrcussion teacher at school to help and so ive been getting some lessons done

  • I've grabbed in 2 pens and imagining me playing so good like this. One word to describe this video: Awesome.

  • @TheBmxRider4Life Well thanks!

  • AWESOMENESS!

  • hey man, goodjob.

with the ghost notes, i found for me, just hearing them in other songs, over time they kind of just snuck into my playing. Also don't force them, work with gravity, the stick will just fall anyways!

    again good cover.

  • Thanks fattydrums! Very much appreciate it.

  • dang ur awesome

  • @mineinfinity Thanks very much! I hope to have more drum covers up soon! :)

  • Hi Omar, good cover.

If you're not looking for feedback, simply ignore this comment..

A little tense, but I think there's something that can easily help you lose the tension; improve the way you hold your drumsticks. You seem to have them in your hands in a very firm way; it might work, but I suggest trying to take a look at 'correct' stick technique. It really does make a difference.

    Again, great cover. :)

    Mike

  • Hi Mike.

I'm always looking for input. Thanks very much! I'm working on exactly what you mention; nice catch. I'm aware of the grip. In my case, it's not just my grip, but my entire body needs to be more relaxed. Hopefully my next drum cover will be better in this regard.

    Happy drumming!

  • this sounds like chop sewy-system of the down.

can u do faithfully please? :]

  • Hi k0olz.

Let's see, hmm, nope! Sounds like "Toxicity" to me! Check out others who've covered "Chop Suey" - you'll see (and hear) the difference. :)

  • fail.

  • My little brother rocks on the drums!!! Awesome job!

  • Nice one mate!

  • Thanks Glitch! I appreciate it!

  • how long did it take for you to learn this good job

  • Hi Badwes.

Actually practicing it, between practicing certain difficult parts and recording different takes till I got it to where I could present it to the world, about an hour. But I visualized myself playing it for months. That really helped me. And thanks for your comment!

  • Awesome job.

  • NICE JOB Omar! Way to go - love SOAD!

  • Thanks candude! I worked really hard on this one. We'll see what I conjure up next!
