  • Another self important gidget who loves to listen to herself yap about something that only she finds interesting. These people are the most hated, most loathed portion of the workforce. This bitch is the perfect stereotype.

  • I really agree on how you need to motivate your employees and recognize their efforts to make them feel worthy and valuable. They need to learn that they are also an asset on the team so they become productive in their everyday tasks. :)

    Thanks for this video!

  • I have enough of being a slave...

  • Seems like a nice enough lady. For me I`m totally amazed that there are companies that do all this and indeed universities (brain washing institutions) that do 3 year courses that lead up to in a few cases with a job in human resources.

Folks it`s VERY VERY easy it`s called common sense. Sadly the problem is that common sense is not very common.

If you need to be taught how to be genuine and sincere then you are acting the part and people see through you.

It just should all come from the heart.

  • Reinforcement and appreciation exhibited by a manager will have the greatest impact to the employee. Research confirms that employees often leave managers, not companies. In this economy, managers need to recognize employees for positive behaviors and reward them with a personalized token of appreciation.

  • A leader is not a leader if there are no followers. And there are no followers if there is no respect! If an employer/ manager doesn't trust their employees when the employees never gave them a reason not to trust them, it makes me wonder if the employer is trust worthy. What's going through their head? Also, if they cannot acknowledge and give credit where credit is due...then they are those who are impossible to please. There is no future working for people like that. This is a great video!

  • I really like this video! Infact....I'm tempted to send it to the owner of the company that I was recently let go from (and his egotistical...power hungry wife who also runs the place). The CEO seriously needs to put a mussle on his crazy wife and make her leave everyone alone so that they can focus on their work! There are at least 7 people who want to report her to the DOL!!! She starts fires instead of put them out and everything is personal with her. She can't choose her battles wisely,

  • I like how she pointed out that people need to feel worthy. I remember a time when I had worked hard on what I know turned out to be a successful account and although it made the company money I never received feedback. It was hard for me to turn around and perform again because I didn't feel my efforts were of value.

  • she sounds like Gary Busey

  • I don't understand why companies think human resources is the key to motivating employees. Most employees of a business view human resources as the bitter, revenge seeking inner child ready to unleash their past psycological drama on humanity. I'm sure years of emotional elementary school abuse created of the most successful human resource personel today. They went from the school hall monitor to the corporate prick who gets to determine who stays and who goes.

  • yeah it helps, good tips indeed.

    Hi from Serbia.

  • Gary,

You might as well take your money out of the bank and throw it on the street, and leave the doors to your house and car unlocked. Sexual harassment/creating a hostile work environment will have the lawyers and the government sailing down your back. (The work environment you think should be created is a violation of federal and state law. If you're that arrogant to think that you'd get away with it, try it on a judge and a jury. They don't like arrogance.)

  • This quote sums up HR nicely:

    Luke Johnson

“HR is like many parts of modern businesses: a simple expense, and a burden on the backs of the productive workers”

  • Go fuck yourself and the bourgeoisie, bullshit ideals and values you push. You're completely full of shit and your job as an HR asshole adequately reflects you as an employee, but is dated in the workforce.

  • Great tips Pat, thanks a lot. Peter Kearney

  • HR was created to help employees deal with upper/middle management. Over the years it has changed to "The Employee Police". I hate all HR employees as they are so 2 faced and fake.

  • what a pile of sh!t

  • A good presentation.

  • What they forgot to mention is the best way to motivate an employee is by hovering over their shoulders and letting them know that they can be fired at just about any fucking minute...

  • @Vylvan and u called that the best way??haha.......so pathetic approach to u r employees.managing though discipline only method....it goin to be a disaster and it will lower the efficiency of the organization...

  • @aristotelis85

....you can stop banging your head on the keyboard; Sarcasm buddy. I was being sarcastic.

  • @Vylvan

...It's scares me to think that there are actually people out there who would think that you're comment about "hovering over employee's shoulders and letting them know that they can be fired at just about any minute" was serious! You're comment made me laugh because that is exactly what happened to me at my last job (which wasn't funny while it was happening).

  • @Vylvan Baning my head on the keyboard??LOL!!!for what?:P

    C ya:P

  • Employees need less motivation...they arent getting anywhere there pay is gonna remain the same and they will probably be stuck at the shitty company for as long as they live.

Don't work hard...it's a lie you aren't gonna somehow make a lot of money youll probably need either illegal or legal drugs just to help you cope with your boring shitty cubicle or warehouse job which most people in the world are subject to by their corporate masters.

  • Human Resources people are simply fucked up. Your attitude is invariably that the employee is a problem and not an asset. You're not the highest on the fucking asshole totem pole, but pretty close to the top. Maybe in other countries, but in USA, HR people suck ass.. I mean rats ass.. I mean HR people suck the shit out of dead rats assholes. Fuck you and your miserable view of others. You can't smell talent or brains because you have none, all you have is your fucking SHIT attitude. Fuck you

  • I'm assuming nobody told you that you're doing a good job at work recently...

  • Someone hasn't met Toby Flenderson.

  • ahhh I feel sorry for you man! You sound like someone with lots of personal issues. I think you have no idea how the world really works!

  • oh man, I wish I could really unload on HR like that. I hate those pricks. Those stupid moronic pricks. However, since I am a network engineer I do like to mess with them. I was once asked by HR to audit the company for illicit use of computers for porn and such. I looked at them like they were on crack. Well golley gee, most of the big managers and one HR exec had porn on their computers or in their emails or both. Needless to say they didn't want the report after that and they left me alone!

  • What a good & educating presentation...... I like that and I gained someting again today.

  • A decent point, many companies do a poor job of acknowledging their human capital.

  • LOL

  • Volume is too low.
