the bwo made me koala-fy....hang upside down on a tree while others are in the front lean and rest, the time you hang there determines how long they have to do the push ups. When you fell you instantly had to start from the beginning while someone else "koala-fied" and added even more pushups to yours. Hahaha good times good times.

@johnmm33 feel the exact same way brother...1-1 was unique to say the least. Disappointed stuff went down like it did towards the end...you heard about how Budingen gave the unit a ton of beer and one captain in HHT flung feces on privates and the MPs came and all sorts of nonsense went down.

Good memories regardless....First day i got to post Sgt. Henderson was like, "You see that fence over there? That's the end of the post..."

bruh i say 19D you learn alot more shit, im a reclass that went 19D and like the guy say, you might be dissappointed if u went infantry, cavs are infantry to say but i like to say we the more advanced version of infantry, we might not have the blue rope, but we have the stetson and spurs to top it, but you have to earn the spurs though. so its up to you bru, but if i was you ill go cav.

yea go scout its better overall im mean both is pretty much infantry but scout is a more advanced infantry you deal with alot more equipment and weapons and learn alot more stuff in the process

Go 19D, I can tell you my time in as 19D30 was the most rewarding and exciting time in my life. It's a great MOS, you have the opportunity to do so many things and have wonderful experience. The bond between all scouts is very close and in the scout community you will be a scout for the rest of your life.

I was in 1/1 Cav during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. We were the spearhead for 1st AD. I have an audio tape of us getting hit with friendly fire from MLRS. We were stationed in Ansbach Germany, but after returning from Kuwait/Irag 1/1 Cav disbanded and reformed in Texas... not sure when it came back to Germany. I loved my Bradley, but hated the swim skirt hehe. Good to see some fellow scouts in action!
