  • What does he say to the audience before he start the song?

  • @Fabian81 He says, "Sorry to keep you waiting, but here's the top of the bill." Which does sound a tad pretentious, no? Or just the wrong joke at the wrong time?

  • @setheurovision94 Can tou explain that to me a bit further. What was the story behind those comment of Björn? Why did he say that?

  • @Fabian81 Your guess is as good as mine. I guess he just wanted to apologise for the delay, and with the nerves he must have been feeling (because they weren't planning on singing the song in Swedish at all) may have led him to blurt this out. Because they were planning to sing in English, but it was only shortly to enterting the stage when they were assured that doing so would have them disqualified on the spot. As you can see, Björn has trouble remembering the lyrics in Swedish.

  • @setheurovision94 Yeah it makes sence. I knew that part of wanting to sing in English but in 78 Björn should have known that no one was allowed to sing in English anymore ... his stubborness was a bit silly but at least he performed instead of allowing himself to be disqualifed. It would be stupid and very unprofessional from him.

  • Agony listening to this - I had to stop just a few seconds into the song.

  • He has forgot the lyrics in swedish...

  • Röppni fälls

  • Love the clump-clump-clump of their clogs as they went on-stage.

  • fyfan vilken kameltå

  • Isn't it more like "örr ur i gnöl"?

For thows who wish to sing the nonsens words he sings in the beginning.

  • The actual words for the second line - which he forgets - are:

    Trivs med mitt jobb,

    har kompisar

    att snacka med,

    det flyter"

  • A nice, sombre little song, but I'd say the attitude surrounding it spoiled things a little. The Swedish delegation were planning to sing the song in English, possibly as a protest to the abolishment of the free-language rule. It was only shortly to entering the stage when this was ruled out for good, so Björn Skifs was totally unprepared.

  • Yes true :) He was really unprepared and you can see it in his proformance because he looks like he as no focus. Watch the proformance at the national final. Now that was so much better!/watch?v=ZiiE86LOrP8

To bad that his ESC proformance was not as good.

  • Too bad you can't spell.

  • HAHA!!

  • HAHAHA när han tappa bort sig asså! Jag trodde jag skulle dö!

  • This performance is sadly enough spoiled of this unconcentration. Check out Björn Skifs with this fantastic song, when he won the Swedish National Final in 1978. That version is SOOOO AMAZING!!! He sings brilliant, and the orchestration is VERY BRILLIANT too!!!

  • This song is a ballad more calm than of Fangad i en dröm (1981)

  • röppni fälls ur i knön...haha

  • this means something?

  • lol lasermannen,is it true?

    nice song

  • haha fin låt..

  • Notice how he forgets the lyrics between 1.06 and 1.12, being a born entertainer he makes up his own language knowing the only one who will understand are the swedes watching at home. "röppni fälls our i knön å gnibblisåå"

  • I like in the next verse, it looks like he's trying not to laugh!

  • A perfect song by a great singer :).
