regine counts too much on being high-pitched and "powerful" in every single live or studio recording. that is exactly why regine feels like an american-idol type wanna-be, and has very limited distinctive features in her vocal performance. actually, that's why regine could not deliver when polygram tried to give her a shot a decade ago. she is no comparsion to sandy lam, who is indeed an innovative and sophisticated diva.
