  • Absolutely Amazing Piece of Music!!!! Wow!!!,,,,I Love this!!

  • @billy2129 Thanks so much!

  • impressive pedal board. Do a video on your board and what all you have.

  • @prody2000 I need to do an updated one. For sure.

  • Hey man. Love this! The link to you album doesn't directly link. Forgot the .com to Bandcamp!

  • @revoltcollective Oh thanks! Fixed!

  • what....that's a space ship control in front of you?????

  • @syndgr834 haha Sadly, yes. Fun though! haha

  • Nice work! At 1:12 in, the red pedal---is that fuzz? Which one? I need a replacement for my Big Muff...takes up way too much space!

  • @ejyuhas Yes, that's fuzz. It's a Hartman Vintage Germanium. Best fuzz I've ever played! :-)

  • sounds really great but Your boots are awful :P

  • @webski666 What?! They're so rad! ;-) hehe

  • killer boots

  • @quexalcoatl haha Thanks.

  • what amp do you use ?

Love what you do, check you channel all the time. All the Ambiant sounds is very cool but im a straight in amp most of the time little effects but you use them so well.

  • @notrightloser Thanks a ton for the kind words. :-) And I mostly use a Matchless HC30.

  • Do you ever listen to Stars Of The Lid, Explosions In The Sky or Godspeed You Dark Emperor, Passenger95? This could fit in on any of their records. Really great stuff.

However, you have just cost me a lot of money in effects pedals that I'm now going to HAVE to buy in order to emulate this stuff... thanks a lot!!! :)

  • @wowlman haha Thanks for the kind words. And if it inspired you to buy mor lovely gear, that can only be a good thing, right? ;-)

I don't listen to any of those bands, but I'll be sure to check them out. Thanks!

  • how do you loop your different effects?

  • @chinamachinepresents In this video, I'm using the looper in the Damage Control Timeline. Sometimes I also use the Boss DD7. :-)

  • absolutely gogeous stuff as usual, i love guitarists like you who can create awesome sounds with so few notes. and i shall be for ever be in your debt for opening up the world of damage control to me. speaking of which, how long before some strymon pedals appear on your board? or are they a bit small for you hehe? i'm tring to decide what to sell to buy a blue sky . . .

    thanks again karl

  • @geoffpup Thanks for the kind words! :-) Stoked that these can be enjoyed a bit. And maybe some Strymon soon...they do seem to be making some wonderful pedals. :-)

  • Impressive music, and board..

How did you loop all the layers? They sound quite clear and everything seems under a nice control, having all that on the floor to control!

  • @triviani1234 Thanks! They're all looped with the DC Timeline...it has a really intuitive looper that lends itself nicely to stuff like this. :-) And ya, it's nice to have everything at my feet. :-)

  • @Passenger95 Thanks for the quick answer, didn't know that the timeline could loop, I have to check it.

  • @Passenger95

Ah, can you use the DC delay while looping?

  • @triviani1234 Nope. :-( I've got the one looping, and the other for the delayed sounds being looped.

  • @Passenger95 That's a lot of delay real state!

    Thanks

  • @triviani1234 lol Ya, it'd be nice if they were smaller, but it's worth it to me for the sound quality, presets, and versatility.

haha But it is a lot of space dedicated to delay when I stop and think about it.

  • @Passenger95 Do you gig with that board?

  • @triviani1234 haha Yep!! It's a bit heavy, but it's all pretty self-contained and moves fairly easily. The front part with the Midi Mate's on it detaches and moves separately, so that makes it a little easier. :-)

  • @Passenger95

It has to look awesome on stage, with all these lights on .. :)

  • @triviani1234 haha It distracts the drummers. :-)

  • @Passenger95 XD

  • You know your pedal board has gotten to the perfect size when when you need a rolly chair to move from one side to the other.

  • @BradL091 lol Best comment ever!!

  • Dude, you have alot of great stuff, fromm around 1:00-1:50 was outstanding! You should release a soaking Cd along the lines of Alberto and Kimberly Rivers's Captured CD, first 4 songs!

  • @GuitarLessonSarasota Thanks, brother. I'm working towards it!

  • This doesn't sound like your usual stuff. I am loving the theme of it though. Very.........soundtrack. Mmmmmmm.......

  • @cosmogang Ya, it's a little darker. Probably bordering on cheesey-dark, as I do use the minor 6th note. But hopefully there's enough feel and melody in it to keep out the cheese. haha

  • if you havent checked out Irreversible, you should do so. i think youd like them.

  • @xCYNICOUTCASTx Cool! Thanks!

  • Absolutely fantastic! ....again

  • @Bt2BreakSkn Thanks a ton! :-)

  • @Passenger95 Your videos and songs are quite inspirational....I absolutely love the ambient guitar work you achieve and perform. Reminds very much of the band Explosions In The Sky (one of my favorites) Keep up the great work and keep the vids coming

  • @TheLonetone483 Explosions In The Sky is AMAZZING... I used them in a video of mine a while back at a car show. Worked perfect in my opinion!

  • @Bt2BreakSkn I love Explosion in the Sky, they are almost as cool as Karl.

  • @GuitarLessonSarasota lol Waaaay too kind. haha

  • @TheLonetone483 Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm working hard to make these more frequently. :-)

  • shocked

  • @fc3603 Thanks! (Hoping that 'shocked' is a good thing. hehe)
