does everything about stanfurd have to be this bad. I have yet to see one thing that stanfurd has that is better than cal. this band is just a pathetic joke. Cal has more fans, pulls better pranks, and has better teams. cal will crush stanfurd in the big game on Dec. 1.

Nice prediction, DaniPower0! Does everything about DaniPower0 have to be this bad? I have yet to see anything about DaniPower0 that is reliable or truthful. Cal has more fans because it is a bigger school, its pranks are mostly vandalism and I haven't heard of anything sweet lately, and its teams are almost universally worse.

Polo. you've had a good 2 yrs. before that we were better. women way better

Soccer. men split in 07, women are better

Rugby. women are nat'l champs. You're the only varsity M squad in the country.

Volleyball. owned

Rowing. once great Cal was 5th, Stanford men 2nd this year

Cross country. done

Swimming. owned

Baseball. last year we swept you here and you won 2 of 3 there

Oh, and golf, synchro, tennis, wrestling, gymnastics, lacrosse. Facts, not bias!

The Stanford band is a monument to indifference. They aren't funny, but they aren't bad enough to be accidentally funny either, they are just lukewarm. No need to boo them or cheer them when they are on the field just get a soda.

hey man. it's all good. as a band, as in how they sound, is just fine. same with the dirty golden bear's marching band. all bands sound good, to me, as a musician. don't dis on musicianship because of other silly reasons.

this is having fun. the band plays for half an hour at least after every game. Kal band is too busy pulling stiff uncomfortable things out of their asses to do that.

We play after the game in the stands, on the field, and finally while marching out of the stadium. Notice how no one was actually enjoying this band besides the band members? After big game, at least half of the people marching with us are Stanford people. After this last (embarrassing) big game, some nice Stanford alums invited me to their tailgate and related to me how embarrassing it is that Stanford doesn't have a "real band". Their words, not mine :)

a few weird alums do not a truth make, Mark. Many Stanford students stick with the band for as long as the band keeps playing. You can't tell who's who, because our Band isn't dressed in stuffy gear and students intermingle. After we took back the Axe, the band went around campus playing and partying for hours with tons of students as well. These are true future alumni. Those who go back to chat with the Cal Band are... well, what would you think of Cal students who went to chat with our Band?

I don't know, I can't say that I've ever seen cal people walking around with your band. I didn't say that students hated the band, it's just pretty obvious that most people don't care either way. Do you think the Stanford band is the only one that goes "around campus playing and partying or hours with tons of students"? Anyway, this is kind of a dumb argument incited by insomnia. If it means anything, your fans were almost universally nice.
