  • This actually sounds better than the original version.A modern take on an old classic!

  • My favorite Sabbath cover song. EPIC!!!!! C.O.C!!!!

  • i like the juxtaposition between image and grainy video footage

  • Damn, three of my favorite bands covered this song, C.O.C., Sleep, AND Acid Bath.

  • Very nice.

  • Like great movies, you don't want the song to end... I'd love to hear them keep jamming at the end for while longer...

  • @AngrySteve87: second, Type O Negative incorporated the central riff from "Killing Yourself to Live" and a gothic keyboard version of the "Fairies wear Boots" intro (the riff part before the first verse - done gothic keyboard style)

    >> sorry, too much info. simply expressing my respect for this particular album and all the artists involved. as this opened my mind, heart and soul to heavy metal.

    thanks for uploading. *salutes*

  • @AngrySteve87: one thing i liked about this album (Nativity in Black I) was that two artists involved here made kool twists on their cover versions. kindly allow me to point out:

first, this song (COC's version of Lord of this World). at the ending part, instead of giving just one more riff to end it (as it was in the original Sab tune), they incorporated it with a section of "Sleeping Village" (from Sabbath's self-titled debut album)

  • I like the sound of this cover, it's sounds like a garage band from the 70's!

  • @domdom111111 It's supposed to , dippy .

  • My dad loves this kind of music and I started to love Black Sabbath when I was about 3, and that was about 8 years ago. I still love them!! :)

  • The law

  • the guitars in this tribute is quite a treat for your ears. Takes you to a completely different world. I play this song in my car almost everyday on my way to the office. :)

  • Yeah, i had it in late middle school... pretty much all i listened to for like 6 months. I still love it to this day. Especially the second solo!

  • I had this album in high school. Greatest tribute album ever!!! Really takes me back.
