Do you have to spice more wires than the plug? I saw on the web site you have to splice into a "Hot" 12V power source. Did you have to do this and if so where did you splice it into?

it's not blue.. the Led's are just a different intensity than the regular reverse lights.

They are illegal. Even if they have a blueish tint, they are considered blue lights to the front or rear of a vehicle and is a citable offense. Even if they are just in reverse. Any decent cop would just warn you about it, but chances are the person isn't going to stop using them.

i have one simular just fire, no ice, im on mt 2nd one, i went threw a car was and completely tore the wiring out and broke the light bar in half, it was not the light bars fault it was the car washes fault because the wiring came undone when a brush got caught in it and tore it ant such, they paid me $80 for a new one and just got it last week! :) i love it.

it just plugs into your four pin hitch plug, if you use that then just buy a pigtail so you have one for your trailer and one for the fire and ice.
