But every poetry has two meanings ... one a haqiqi and the other a mijazi meaning ... what you understand is a mijazi meaning and that too is understandable. But this is not a song ... this is a ghazal and if you read history of ghazals then you will know that our peer poets like Ghalib and Meer started this genre to talk about their beloved Creator. Just research and you will find it.
