i think that live is better its more naturall for the snake, i do dislike people that film the live feedings tho, but for those of u that rage over it shud just think of this: u have the choice 2 watch it or not. i feed my snake with live animals, i take my snake and lay him in my backyard and i let a live chicken or rat run around freely and then its up 2 my snake 2 catch his food.

It's definately better for me that the guinea pig was pre-killed and isn't put through the anxiety and pain or being eaten by the snake....That and, in the wild a guinea pig would be a prime target for a snake, and it's gotta eat.

The whole point in keeping snakes is to learn from them, also they make great pets, and cost much less to keep then a dog or a cat, think about it, feed your snake once a week and your sorted (depending on the snake of course).
Its a hobby and you can learn many things from it. if you didnt like the video why did you click on it in the first place, theres this magical button at the top its a big red X, next time you feel a comment like the above coming on, click on the X first.

My point is that obviously anyone can find this and accidentally expose themselves to something that isn't really in good taste. I am not a hippie or anything I just feel that eating meat is wrong for many reasons. Mostly ecological and ethical. I wont bother trying to explain them to you though because I dont think you have the capacity to be rational or listen to what I have to say. As I mentioned previously I stumbled onto this video while looking up guinea pig videos for my girlfriend.

I find it a little less disgusting knowing that it is dead but it is still gross. Yes I am a vegetarian. It's a personal choice. Some people choose to take a stand against what they feel is wrong in this world. I am one of them. Watch the peta video meet your meat and see if you're still hungry for a burger afterwards.

I was searching for videos related to guinea pigs and this one came up. Actually, I didn't watch it so no I didn't notice it was dead. However I still think that it is sick shit that obviously anyone can stumble onto accidentally as I did. Thanks for your kind and intelligent words. I don't believe pythons should be kept as pets. Any snake that eats more than a frozen mouse should not be kept. I'm sure a python would rather be out in a jungle eating real prey, not other domestic pets.

err... pythons don't. snakes are great pets. they're quiet, they don't need to be fed everyday, they can be handled or left alone without giving them any emotional problems. they're much better than dogs and live longer

i got a 7' Columbian red tail. Jumbo rat= $5.50
guinea pig= $15-$20. She eats about tow a week. I think i will stick with the rats lol

Xerxes, the way that humans kill cows is not in any way, shape or form similar to one animal being choked to death by another. Being a guinea pig lover, I don't like to see a pig eaten by a snake, but then again I'm willing to admit that this probably happens in the wild, seeing as how guinea pigs are indigneous to those regions. This is much better than all those sick videos of LIVE guiena pigs being eaten. Mice live dont bother me so much but guiena pigs are more widely considered pets. Much easier to watch when you know the poor thing isnt in any pain or distress.
Thanks for not being one of those brutal people who find it fun t watch a loving animal die.
