@LynwoodAvenue The "black man" is Billy Preston. Played with a lot of people, including the Stones in '76 or '77. (The Black and Blue album; first one with Ronnie and without Mick Taylor.) Had a fairly big hit of his own in mid-70s: Nothin' from Nothin", I think.

If they would have hired another manager to replace Brian Epstein after his death then it may have been diffrent. Just look at the Rolling Stones longevity. If they needed space then they should have took year or two off and then regrouped to see if they could still play together.

It's so sad that they had to break up here. If they could've done as they're song said, and worked it out, I can only imagine what could have been. I'm not going to blame Yoko, even though I don't like her, I'm not even going to blame Klein. The only ones to blame are John , Paul, George, and Ringo.

I think at the time a lot of the information about Yoko was misconstrued. Let's face it, here we are nearly 30 years after John's death, and she is still preserving his name. She didn't sell him (or the beatles) out, she fought to keep John's name first on the lyrical rights. Love her or Hate her, they really were in love, and she still loves him to this day...her actions fully show it.
