i know that was not nice but she would have really shot him if he didn't do anything, he was not gonna surrender to her just because she is pregnant, he knew she was pregnant and that's why he kicked her on the face and not the stomach...

I really wish Jet Li was a good guy in the movie, just my opinion. Though I'm not really sure who they would put in the film as the martial arts bad guy. Maybe Russell Wong?
