The best album ever made, no doubt about it, and I Could Have Lied is one of the best Chili songs ever. Don't get me wrong, I love their upbeat stuff, and Blood Sugar Sex Magik is a prime example of just how funky RHCP can be, but every now and again they pull out something slow and magical, something beautiful. This is exactly how I would describe this song. This, along with Slow Cheetah = perfection.

Slang can be the effect of an accent of a person, or their education. there are probably a few other reasons why people use slang as well. some do it on purpose. some make up totally new words by changing the pronounciation of a word.
