@djSllavi. the uploader and everyone else. This IS NOT the Paul Oakenfold remix, it is by Above & Beyond. They did a club mix and then were asked to do a video edit. The reason this is such a mash of bits is that the video mix was never released, only the club mix. Good effort to the uploader for mashing this into a full length track though.

Finally, a rare Oakenfold remix does exist, but I think it was only on the promo vinyl. I think it's on YouTube somewhere.

I have always been confused about the Paul Oakenfold and the Above & Beyond remixes...their both the same, just edited different??? The intro for example...there's a loop.

The version I downloaded starts and ends different, it has a "stronger" build up...specially towards the end of the song where the last "in this woooorld" is said and a continuous "for a girl" line is spoken.

@maphew2 No, this is defo A&B mix (at least the main theme from it). I don't know where you take your vinyls from but you should change your supplier... On every official sites there are releases that contain A&B mixes and Oaky mix called "Paul Oakenfold Perfecto Mix" His mix is completely different than this one, it's more like progressive house.

But this version here differs from A&B club mix like stoiv said. And this transition at 6:47... well, it's so unnatural... amateur I'd said.

Check out Above & Beyonds 12" Remix of her Nobody Knows me single from the album American Life. In my opinion it equals this in every way. This version has been ripped from the DVD single i think, it came as a DVD single in 2001 as the video was banned for its extreme scenes of violence. In the credits it states this as an Above & Beyond Remix, the original cut.

unless this IS the A&B version and they have done an edit especially for the video. I've heard their 12" club mix (on Anjunabeats) and there is definitely less percussion on that version compared to this. the ending has been extended too to include the key change and build up AND you can hear the stun gun sound on this at 1:53 (as featured on the video when she nicks the money!). I know of a Perfecto remix done by P.O but who knows which is which eh! baffling!

this a fantastic remix and Madonna's vocals work so beautifully with it. seems like there is a lot of confusion over whether Oakenfold or A&B did this remix. I think they sound very similar but I'm pretty sure this is the Oakenfold remix as stated. there ARE fairly distinct differences in the two mixes but this definitely matches the remix edit for the official video. either way, the build up and part at 6:03 is just to die for. I'm going running with this tonight!
