@SGGgamer I own both, but I have barely played either since I have a huge list of things to play. But what I was getting at is Legendia. TOL, Really, really, REALLY sucked and that was right after the Bandai merger. I just have such fond memories of the old Namco Tales games, I'm a little biased to the newer (not to mention people said the latest Symphonia game sucked) Used to rent a game that had ToD and Chrono Trigger on the same PS disc. As good as CT was, I never even touched it, haha.

Are the any RPGs that are darker with real time combat. Persona "might" be too much for me. I'm scared that I wouldn't like the whole socializing gameplay. The gameplay is awsome, even though the story and amount of stages could be a bit bigger and better. Many different jobs to level up, nice armor and weapon choices that can be enhanced to enhanced your job abilities. Faster spell casting enchantments for mages, stagger immunity for melee and mages which really helps when you do the 2/3 on 1 quests. The ability to use certain tales characters for yourself :D this game rocks in those fields.

Mr.Lonely your way underleved to be fighting Widderdshin since at those LVLS his sword attack which is impossible to dodge will most likely wipe your entire party out.Try ranking up some more and good luck

Er, this game isn't really a game for newcomers to the series. The fact that it's a crossover game, which they didn't even mention, means that it's tons and tons of fanservice.

From the sound of it and their unfamiliarity with the characters when they did this, seems they thught this was a one-off.

yeah but it sucks... im currently making TOWRM manga with a couple friends of mine and the art work is very similar to the one in the game's animation my team and i had to try really hard to figure what type of job we should give to the descender so in the end we put him as a shy, timid boy who is a magic knight. there are chapters where he actually learns how to do the overlimit and the exclusive party members are actually from the game itself (such as naomi)

Its phantasia. It was on SNES, but somehow its dated sometime after symphonia cus if you watch the OVA the main character gets the Material blades.

It's only about 24 hours for main story but even then you only have around 50% opf quests complete..or less...and there's always different characters and classes to level up so there's always more to do

yeah it's well worth $20 but then again that's not much money and here it costs more like $40 (still worth it though)

i got this game for psp a few days ago,this is my first tales game,it's pretty good,i really like it,i only have one problem about it though,that problem is you can only hold (15) of each item.anyway it's still good,at the moment i'm a lv 44 thief,i got a lv 22 fighter, and a lv 16 mage,i guess thats kinda cool.

If I'm not mistaken it's normal to be carrying 15 of each item. It's in tales of Symphonia and Abyss and when you beat the game with your grade you can purchase stuff before starting a new game ex. 30 of each item.
