  • I want this video on my F322 phone.

  • Your vid went viral on Wellington

  • This seems kind of... unpractical...

  • oh yeah, this is interesting, lol and I am interested in your product.

I will keep watching. The observation about the lemons not being suck up into the vortex was pretty good because it should go inside as planets go around and into the vortex of a black hole, cool machine. lol

  • oh yeah, this is interesting, lol and I am interested in your product.

    I will keep watching.

  • how many bottles of smirnoff did you drink before this vid? you sound drunk man haha

  • hahahaha cool men!!! wahahah but a bit of stupidity^^

  • thats a fun was to make lemonade.

  • This is not a tesla turbine, there is no laminar flow (hic) here: Perhaps you should find out what a tesla turbine/pump is?

  • @TheOakRoom

What makes you claim there is no laminar flow through the tapered nozzle and closely spaced discs in this turbine??

This is a Tesla Turbine magnetically driving a Tesla disc pump. Both turbine and pump work by adhesion of the boundary layer moving between the discs. Laminar flow occurs both between the .030" spaced discs in the drive turbine and between the driven pump discs.

  • Only with Smirnoff !!!!

  • Play this mix a little sugar and ice and will turn a caipiroska, drink that became common in Brazilian parties. It would be a cairipinha but made with vodka out instead of the traditional "cachaça". An excellent idea to have at a party!

  • fail

  • .....no it will start to heat up after a bit so no it is not...

  • the annotation at 1:08 made me sad. You could tell before that, but I wanted to think it was really alcohol :(

  • @Lessinath

Some hope it is alcohol, and some fear it is. Both are illusions.

  • If this was in Australia would it go round the other way?

  • i see you were drunk when making this video.. i also see youre canadian

  • @brokenbutterfly8

I see your statement is half right...or half wrong, depending on how you look at it.

  • @MrfixitRick That's not really alcohol? fuu how blind i am

  • @MrfixitRick I see you are a "glass half empty" kind of guy....heh

  • Hahahahahhaha how many Smirnoff's you drink before!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well at first glance seems to be an exotic coctail recipe,,, taking a closer look it is a magnetic stirring LOL I was wondering the flavor of the exotic mix,,, jajajaj

  • @qualitatserzeugnis

You can call it "Lemon Twist" !

  • I've been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

  • @leerman22

    Hehe, try this little experiment...

Use a fresh lemon peel, light a candle or lighter, squeeze the peel towards the flame, and watch out!

    Lemon oil is flammable.

Kids, please don't burn houses down with lemons!

  • @MrfixitRick its not lemon oil, you can do that with any citrus fruit, its the flammable citric acid

  • @blind1337nedm

Nope. Citric acid in solution (as found in citrus fruit) is not flammable. What is combustable is the non water-soluble vegetable oil called limonene, found in the peels of oranges, lemons, and grapefruit.

  • @MrfixitRick oh cool. i liek oranges.

  • in soviet russia punchbowl stir you

  • what a weird form to make lemonade.

  • @jon880215

When the going gets weird, the weird make lemonade... (hehe)

My movies show other strange and whimsical kitchen appliances. See "SinkScience #04 - Tesla CD Turbine-Powered Salad Spinner", and "Tesla CD Turbine Blender Bursts On Kitchen Table" as a couple of fun examples.

  • I have a turd in my punch bowl, I call it Obama

  • looks like you had one to many drinks...LOL...

  • WOW Thats soooo much simpler than a SPOON!

  • the perfect recipe for a delicious liver disease punch

  • @600Kilowatts

Yeah, must be a magnetic PH thing.

  • @MrfixitRick the cd's created suction against the bottom of the bowl, when the acid was added, that seal leaked via osmosis...

  • @WoodyMathias

Hmmm, now that's a good rational scientific explanation! ;)

  • fuckin stupid

  • Not lemon juice, just lemons. :) Nice project.

  • r u using water or compressed air to power the turbines??

  • @oldschoolsituationz

The Tesla Turbine under the bowl is powered by faucet water pressure. The tap pressure is supplied by a water pump in the well.

Inside the bowl is a Tesla Pump. A Tesla Pump is a Tesla Turbine run in reverse. The Pump is powered by the Turbine because they are magnetically connected.

  • I like how you find practical applications for your inventions!

  • the main thing that consumption of vodka was not great:)

  • Next lets make a nuclear powered one :)

  • @darknessnine

    I'm on it.

  • @MrfixitRick NUCLER O_o

  • @MrfixitRick the main thing that consumption of vodka was not great:)

  • happy holidays rick

  • He spiked the punchh bowl.....i wanna go now :)

  • Nooo the booze !! You MONSTER !!!!

  • ok thats cool n everything but you didnt really waste 3 bottle of smirinoff on this?

  • Don't do it with Vodka if you don't want to drink the diluted CD marker ink.

  • @agormanvideos or liquid that had been mixed with magnets and cd's... cant tast good.. everything needs a plastic coating before this can be any good

  • bez sensu

  • wont the vodka remove the marker writing on the cd..and infect you drink

  • Howdy Rick, this is Mike from the fourm. I've seen your vid before and thought - Now here is a guy with some Brains, and he is thinking Way out of the box..

I'll do what I can to help you.

    Peace.

  • @mikepowers420

    Thanks, Mike!

Folks should have a look at Mike's Rodin coils at his channel.

  • man, you are a bit drunky donky?

  • oh man ich steh auf so nen scheiß *G*

  • Anyone else think he sounds a lot like Steven Wright? Sorry I just can't get past that.

  • if that isn't awesome, I don't know what is!!! :D

  • 3 26ers of vodka.that aint punch its a coma

  • one hell of a high school dance punch bowl

  • So... you invented a lidless blender?

  • stupidity have no limitz

  • ahahah coll man

  • this is soo cool keep it up!

  • holy shit,,,, this guy has definitely too much free time!!!!!!!

  • this is so epic!

  • You should invest in some BLU-Rays. Much more durable.

  • That's a waste of some nice Russki Vodka...

  • love it,its called fun,ok dudes and dudettes

  • would you like some punch with that vodka?

  • lol nice

  • whahah cool vid man but how dot you make that

can you do it to with a dustsucker :D

  • Creative lol. Well, we have people experimenting which is good and finding applications which is better.

  • I see you drank the smirnoff b4 this

  • @HiAzShit

Good thing too, because the whole works spilt on the floor!

  • @MrfixitRick Divide by zero...you are doing it wrong...

  • lol

  • attach some knives and it's a blender lol

  • @KrankieV2

I attached magnets to some plastic knives and that was pretty crazy!

    Safety glasses everyone!

Also, check out my movie, "Tesla CD Turbine Bursts On Kitchen Table" as well as several other Tesla Turbine blender movies on my channel.

  • @KrankieV2 Attach some guns and it's a terminator!

  • man thats a lot of Punch, Knock you out.

  • man thats a lot of PUNCH!

  • Marnotractwo!

  • yeah this water is a poser. shame on it! heh

  • Why does your voice make me think of Vincent Price..? Otherwise pretty awesome demonstration! (not that sounding like the great Vincent Price is ever a bad thing, just an observation)

  • This is water pretending to be vodka, because I use alcohol to clean the ink from my cd's, and with that being vodka it would happen the same, but i can't see the cd losing the ink....

  • What was the aim of this experiment?

  • @blublood22 so he can drink it up afther he is done and have a good excuse of drinking it

  • MORE POWER! LOL!

  • wtf

  • did ya notice that after ya added the lemons the magnetic pole field kicked to the opposite side and kicked your spinner off. could be a chemical reaction that changed the field hmmm now that could be something if ya can repeat it

  • boring

  • lol....dude..... ok you can come to my parties

  • @ROCKNTV1

    hehe!

  • @MrfixitRick stopping by to say this design has been at work ,,, continuous. With many independent tests the MTBF has never been arrived at,,,, full tilt,,,, lol

  • lol

  • its water vodka doesnt pour like that

  • The most incredible thing it's that he DRINK ALL AT THE END!!!

  • If that is really smirnoffffff you would get all the marker (from the CD) in the punch :/ But I bet that after few punches of this stuff you wouldn't care :)

  • Is it a perpetual alcolism machine?

  • @niceboriss hahahaahhaa

  • Lmao

  • :D:D:D

  • @hahanikka

If you see alcohol in this movie, you must be drunk! (it's just water, and I don't drink! ;)

  • Yeah, right, dude, it's us, no need to try and fool us man.

    Great video's btw.

  • @hahnikka

learn to spell first before insulting people

  • um i didnt insult nobody moron get a real job jackass

  • @hahanikka

    fuckin alchaholic

haha, since when did you have to introduce JOBS into this?

  • That explains that. I thought you'd actually spent somewhere around 60 USD on Vodka.

  • looks like a toilet in action

  • haha^^

  • @ozfactors Wow, what a great idea You could do a video too, and become famous as a spoon-stirrer.

  • @MrfixitRick Touché xD this place is full of idiots :/

  • @MrGyroGearloose Welcome to the internet.

  • LOL water pretending to be vodka.

  • ahahahahaha.....how do you spell hangover? oww....

  • It didn't fly :(

  • @Hansolo60

Actually, in the first take of this movie, the entire bowl flew off the turbine and ended up on the floor with a big mess. Unfortunately, it was not recorded!

  • do you do all your videos drunk lol

  • no its cool i figure it was water the way it poored out. your whole setup just seemed a little bootleg like it just seemes to incomplete maybee a few more additions will make this a qaulity product.

  • ooh yea this punch bowl´s gonna have punch!

    LOL

  • haha, you need larger baffels to prevent the vortex, try four of them

  • I was just going to write, wow, first vodka with foam and bubbles :D .

The note in the video is a good hint for all the alcoholics, gj.

  • i like how he's done making it, then says "Hmm well thats gonna be a nice punch bowl"

  • what a waste of vodka

  • Have a close look at what you perceive is vodka. Hint: look in the "more info" >>>.

  • you didnt notice when he opaned the bottles they wernt sealed?

  • lol what a tool

  • are you stoned ?

  • hahaha thats a lot of vodka

  • I'm so glad you stirred the vodka into the vodka. It's always good to have a homogenous mixture.

  • looks like a good way to make a mess

  • what a waste of time,.

  • hahahahahaha!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAH "this punch bowls gonna have a lot of punch ohhh yea"

  • Oh, yeah! Smirnoff xD

  • Thats alot of alcohol lol. I don't think that is "punch" by definition. It is really a punch when you take a drink I bet! lol

  • HAHA! Love it.

  • use a f*cking spoon bro. im starting to sober up

  • post a video of what happens with glitter instead of lemons

  • Yes, a glitter vortex video is in order! I'll put it on the list.

  • How is the glitter video doing? can you also add the Cd spindel you used in SinkScience No#8 with glitter too along with the punch bowl in the same video (to save your time)

  • Thanks for the reminder. I have a 3 foot x 6 inch tube to use as a cool vortex. I have to finish some other videos first to get room on my computer!

  • Hows it coming along now?

  • I bought glitter, beads, styro balls yesterday. The time is nigh...sometime this weekend, I expect.

  • I wonder how long it will take to touch the bottom....

  • Are you almost done

  • I havent checked back in quite a while, is the glitter video almost done yet?

  • Thanks for the interest. It's almost finished.

I had some other things to handle in the last two weeks, and am working on the vortex generator again this weekend.

If you subscribe, you can catch my new videos.

  • dude... this was hilarious! I love that it looked like the "punch" was nothing but 3 bottles of Smirnoff!! lol

  • i hope you dont really use this for food because all cd dvd whatever have a thin metal layer that loves to peel and get every where

  • Good advice...although this particular CD Turbine was used in my sink for over a year, and it didn't change the CD's, sometimes CD's will de-laminate fast into fairy dust!

A proper Tesla turbine would have stainless or ceramic discs.

  • ...So many uses for your Tesla :3

    What's the craziest?

  • The one that got me the reputation of "crazy" mrfixitrick was the Tesla CD Turbine Pumpkincutter Special ( Youtube/watch?v=aoRh8T_VX-Y ) I made for Halloween two years ago. I mounted a Skilsaw blade magnetically to the turbine, and running it on compressed air, proceeded to carve a pumpkin.

I was sweating and nervous all the time! I believed the turbine and the magnetic coupling would work though, and proved my point. Sometimes it's worth it to take a chance.

  • i was biting my nails, till i saw that it was pure water, not alc.... woosh... that was sadistic...

  • Need one of these with saw blades in my toilet. Chop some logs.

  • This invention would have to be combined with my saw-blade turbine. See "Running the Tesla CD Turbine Prototype With Sawblade Attachment"

    youtube/watch?v=Dn6MR0Wslf8

  • Wow, alchoolic ```Genius``.

  • Nice work mate!

But you do make shit punch. ;)

  • Im really stupid when it comes to science guys, but, could this be used as a boat engine? It seems to work well under water, assuming that it has a lot of power based on the size

  • There are two items in the movie...the Tesla Turbine underneath and the Tesla Pump in the punchbowl. A Tesla Turbine could be used as an engine and a Tesla Pump as a way to push the water to provide thrust.

Someone told me he was designing a Tesla Pump to replace the prop blade on his boat!

  • Ahh, thanks and congratulations, great work :D

  • nice product placement

  • LOLOLOL Freakin' sweet! hahaha

  • Nice.... vodka bottles filled with water. Anyone else notice it's not real vodka?

  • Thats not the point dude.

  • you must be the first! Thank god for you!

  • yep

  • how do you know?

  • We sure do retard, he even told it as a annotation at 1:10...

  • It's time to go to AA

  • i can use that for cleaning my socks lol

  • Your also consuming all the small pieces of plastic from all the friction between the "punch bowl" and cd. LOL

  • Fortunately, the punch bowl disc pack runs virtually frictionless, using the "fluid bearing" approach of modern turbines. (Hehe)

However, the discs are polycarbonate, which is not the best material for fluids used for human consumption, as they have recently discovered with sports and baby bottles.

  • hope you like ink in your drink

  • It's water-resistant ink, hehe!
