And based on its creators, Sentry converting his energy into red sun or putting tentacles are not any of his abilities. Sentry can die, if he can be resurrected, so is he can die. Supe has that same ability. Where there is yellow or blues star or sun, Superman can be resurrected and superpowered. There are infinite yellow and blue stars in the universe!

Banner became Worldbreaker again during the World War Hulks event when he fought Skaar and later on fought and utterly owned Red Hulk

Sentry was created by Marvel as a sort of Superman Ex Machina anyway. They wanted a character very similar to Superman to fill what they thought was a gap.
In other words Sentry is a deliberate copy of Superman.

Ahem well i dont like Sentry at alll . He is a light version of Dr. Manhattan, or Miracleman, godlike beings with mental issues, but there is one grat difference , the characterization and plot, Sentry will not be remembered : Superman is a legend, that has fought, the likes of Ali , Thor , Hulk. I think it's funny how passionate some people get about fictional characters whose outcome depends solely on the writers. Some may give more leeway to what fans want, but still ultimately their decision. Feats of strength can vary at times from writer to writer for all characters. I love comics and it's characters very much, but I have also accepted this fact: In the end, it is the writer(s) who determine who wins.
Also both these characters have fought the Hulk in many different instances.

One fought two of his weakest forms while the other fought his 2nd strongest form. NOTE: His worldbreaker incarnation is his strongest (for those who don't remember, he became that form when miek stabbed rick while trying to stab banner then revealed that he was the cause of that explosion on planet sakaar).
Itd be a good fight but id have to go with Sentry. Im tired of everyone backing up superman 100% because he has all the powers ever thought of and he wins just because "thats just the way it is". during Planet Hulk he save planet Sakar by putting it's core together when the red king tries to destroy planet and during WWH he was stoped by Stark from exploding before as he said himself " i will rip this planet apart" and about secret wars after Hulk returned from planet Sakar he was stronger than ever ( it is said by Stark or Richards ) and secret wars ends in 1985 and Planet Hulk starts in 2006 so Green Scar is stronger than in SW. Now Superman is vulnerable to magic, and Thor's hammer is magic, plus Thor himself is almost as strong as superman, two advantages to one. WWH was the strongest HULK there ever was, and a fight with superman, WWH would win five times out of six. A little of topic, but Black Bolt would destroy anyone. No Argument.

@MultiAlpha13 Actually there was an incarnation of hulk stronger than green scar (who a lot call world war hulk) and that is Worldbreaker Hulk (who banner became after miek stabbed rick and revealed that he was the one behind that explosion on sakaar). Banner became Worldbreaker again during the World War Hulks event when he fought Skaar and later on fought and utterly owned Red Hulk

Sentry, Prime, Captain Marvel, Thor among other flying heroes with capes, super strength, etc... They're all great, but just "knockoffs" of earth's greatest hero - Superman. And you know what they say about knockoffs; they're never as good as the genuine article. For this reason characters like Superman, Batman, Spiderman and Hulk have stood the test of time. They're the first of their kind and everyone else is just a clone. Superman for the win against his clone.

Sentry was created by Marvel as a sort of Superman Ex Machina anyway. They wanted a character very similar to Superman to fill what they thought was a gap.
In other words Sentry is a deliberate copy of Superman.

He is a light version of Dr. Manhattan, or Miracleman, godlike beings with mental issues, but there is one grat difference , the characterization and plot, Sentry will not be remembered : Superman is a legend, that has fought, the likes of Ali , Thor , Hulk. Granted Hulk is resilient as fuck and World War Hulk is even more Badass.....I think in the end though, Superman would still win. Now A fight I WOULD love to see Hulk vs Doomsday. Granted the Universe at that point would be the battleground cause God knows our measly little planet couldn't hold all the epicness.

I think it's funny how passionate some people get about fictional characters whose outcome depends solely on the writers. Some may give more leeway to what fans want, but still ultimately their decision. Feats of strength can vary at times from writer to writer for all characters. I love comics and it's characters very much, but I have also accepted this fact: In the end, it is the writer(s) who determine who wins.
Also both these characters have fought the Hulk in many different instances.

One fought two of his weakest forms while the other fought his 2nd strongest form. NOTE: His worldbreaker incarnation is his strongest (for those who don't remember, he became that form when miek stabbed rick while trying to stab banner then revealed that he was the cause of that explosion on planet sakaar).

If Sentry had the power of million exploding suns, he would destroy the earth acidentaly on his first energy release. Also don't forget that Sentry has power of Yellow Sun, the source of power of Superman. It only makes him more powerful. So, no matter how powerful Sentry is, he'll only make Superman stronger. It wouldn't be fair.
