yea it took some searching b4 i found a cover that my disability can handle but this is it. im goin 2 bring it 2 life with my 12 string acoustic. thank you 4 giving me another floyd tune 2 play.
Hey Bloggermouth, I really liked your cover and that you added Nobody home into the cover aswell, if you have time could you check out my cover on my page i'd love some constructive criticism/feedback.. it doesn't include Nobody Home but it's Is There Anybody Out There! Thanks
Would you please please please send me tabs for nobody home I have looked everywhere and I can't find it! I know all of is there anybody out there? By heart and i think it would be cool to be able to play both of these songs in a row so please help me out.
Wow this is great. Nobody Home is my favorite from the Wall, it's a really powerful song. It seems to always be over looked because of Comfortably Numb or Another Brick In The Wall.
I listened to PF back in the 80's but it's so overplayed I will turn a radio off before I listen to it anymore.........your video of you behind the guitar enticed me to listen for a change of heart....I'm glad, it was very good dude! By the way, I feel your pain with the child custody stuff.......I'm being made homeless myself from the "system" where is the accountability for the custodial parent?
I first clicked on this song with the intention of skipping ahead and just listening to your interpretation of Nobody Home, Needless to say I watched the whole thing, that was excellent. Cheers!
Truly well done and much enjoyed. Thanks you so much for showing the way to play Nobody Home on guitar, it's one of my all time favorite songs. I singed in just to leave you this comment. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for sharing this. "Is There Anybody Out There?" has always been the last song I play before I set my guitar down. I've always loved singing "Nobody Home" but only had the piano arrangement. Thank you for showing me the chords, and thank you for being an inspiration to a lowly guitar player like myself. :-)
I just saw Roger Waters the other night in Toronto. Your rendition of Nobody home is pretty fabulous. I think the guy would be impressed himself.. lol. But man what a great show, that song (nobody home) is one of the best pieces of the entire set. Nice emotion you showed too.
@xiamque - You sir, do not sound like a musician - certainly not an artist. The proper comment would have sounded like this: "Nice job, thanks for posting such a great song for all of us to appreciate." While you critique anonymously, the rest of us are here to enjoy music.
Absolutely fantastic. I am a bit of an older guy who's midlife crisis is playing guitar. I have been playing for about 8 years I am so inspired by this. Thank you for sharing.
I was listening to the wall and remembered how beautiful this song was, and just thought i would see if someone had a lesson on youtube.
Might be biting off more then i can chew if your actually picking upwards with your thumb as it appears!!! Wow
Very nice. I could feel the emotion in the music. Also, good job on your fortes and pianos, those are what gives the music it's feeling more than anything. you can never have enough f and p. 8/10 Good Job
Incredible voice, the best I have heard from a true fan, and very moving quote "It is the student that always wants to be the master. It is the master who always knows they'll be a student." I appreciate your talent and your life lesson sir.
I viewed this for the first time about a year ago. I hadnt played in years and you inspired me to play again. Im currently working with a few local musicians on a Beatles project. Thanks for the nudge :)
Thanks Bloggermouth for the two great renditions. I myself am a bass player and have using this video to play along with. "We" sound pretty good together! Thanks again for the Floyd.
I am 15 years old and I've been trying to play "Is there anybody out there". This is hard and I suck at guitar, but this video makes me want to try harder :) You done an amazing performance!
Thank you! I have a 15 year old son who is learning to play. My advice is to play it slow at first and when you are comfortable with the fingering, speed it up. The most important thing is that you enjoy the learning process.
It is the student that always wants to be the master. It is the master who always knows they'll be a student.
@bloggermouth excuse me , im 17 years old , im learning it , is not too hard for me because I play since i have 6 but.. i think that the most important thing for learning is as you said play it slooow down , and u must have the song in your head.. i listened it over 20 tmes before playing it xD it helps u a lot :)
@bloggermouth I learned this song about 3 months or so ago and I'm not the greatest guitar player so it did take me about an hour or more a day for 2 weeks to get down...My suggestion is to break it up into sections and practice the sections over and over. Once you feel semi comfortable you should play along with it the song to try to get your timing down and work out any little errors you may be making...
@xgirsl i'm also 15 and i thought i just had to learn that song after i saw the movie...it's not as difficult as it seems and it is very beautiful...keep trying! good luck! =)
@kasperlasper Not being an idiot either, but the progressive rock is in the category of Rock. However, Pink Floyd is also as much psychadelic rock as proggressive, so you don't really make any sense. But thank you anyway :)
ah, thanks for correcting me then. but isn't psychadelic rock a lot like progressive rock? experimenting with different genres and being abstract? but anyway, i agree - pink floyd is the best BAND in the world, let me say it like that :D
DUDE awesome video! I loved it man, I love these songs and you do them justice, I'm adding this as a favorite and WILL get these two tunes down :) Thanks!
