I agree that this new Doctor might not be the real mccoy, but if it is then he is either the 11th, 12th or 13th incarnation of the Doctor. Due to time constraints and impending doom, this new Doctor didn't have time to explain anything to his 'younger' self. The Next Doctor preview implies the meeting of 2 distinct Doctors as well as a temporal paradox just like we saw in Time Crash (where the 10th Doctor meets up with his 5th incarnation). Although, it might not be as catastrophic. I'm presuming that this next Doctor, if it is really the next bloke to take on the part of the Doctor, is the 11th and next in line for the Steven Moffat storyboard of 2010. However, can't wait to see all the specials to witness the transition between the 10th and 11th..
