I know you'd probably say "anybody would do it", but still, I'm proud of you guys abandoning the chase to check on the house that just took the direct hit! Nice job guys!!!!
this video really puts in perspective how dangerous they are, i've driven on those roads outside of kato countless times to see the magnitude of how big they are is crazy, but have never seen a tornado in RL. I don't recall in my lifetime a tornado actually directly hitting mankato... it would not a be a pretty site, hopefully it will never happen.
Awesome tornado you got in this video. You were close too. I've been on a few myself, but I still haven't seen one of these wedges upclose yet. Saw one way off in the distance near Henessey Oklahoma, but I never got that one on video, because the rain wrapped it as I was stopping to get a video of it.
