In Germany they first came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me — and by that time no one was left to speak up. and now is it's here !!!!
If you put these photos next to ones from the civil rights and anti war movements from a few generations ago, what would you think? Where will it all end? Will my Daughter, or grand daughters generation be doing the same thing? Are we stuck in some messed up cycle where only ever other generation or so gets to live the good life?
