@leftyzappa Exactly. I don't understand why people diss Steve Vai. He's a total virtuoso. Jimi is my all time favorite, but Steve is great in his own right. He also does gigs on the Experience Hendrix tours and tears up things like Voodoo Child with Satriani and others. I think that's great that Jimi's legacy means enough to him that he would participate.

The first club that I played was in 1941 (june 18th) I'd seen Muddy waters sitting the corner looking at me play. And... I showed off and layed my guitar, and he just smiled . That was the best moment. And I was the only white boy from england there.

I'm living proof that his music is timeless. He touched me with his music and i started listening to him 33 years after he died. His music is awesome and truly amazing.
