The badger didn't get the leopard's kill. It threw a fit of rage, defending itself. But it ultimately took off. It's not going to mess with a leopard. The leopard is a killing machine. One swift bite to the neck is all it would have taken for the leopard to kill it. I would call this encounter a stand off. A leopard would avoid attacking a badger because it's not really something the leopard hunts. But if the leopard was hungry & wanted to kill it, I think that it would kill it quickly.
