The fawn really didn't need to be put under stress but hey I think getting a tick out an eye is pretty important, it could mess up the eyesight. Also the doe came back to its baby so I think everything turned out right

Usually that takes days: Until the tick is engorged, it's usually safe to just yank it off, because its head isn't all the way under the skin yet. I'd know: I've pulled hundreds off of my horse D; And I've only had to burn a couple off. Never had an infection yet, and that's *with* the horse playing in the mud.
we had a fawn years back and STUPIDLY called the EPA or whatever agency you call about wild animals to report it's mother was nowhere in sight....for days. The poor thing was crying like this and the EPA said to leave it alone and that the mother would return. Well, she didn't. She was probably killed on the nearby parkway. That poor little animal just kept crying. I vowed I would NEVER call a government agency for help again.

Strange, you’re offended that I mention children, but you’re not offended by hunting groups indoctrinating children and encouraging them to kill. That corruption, dare I say evil, should be the thing that offends you.
Is that not a fair question? What happens to a child that associates killing innocent animals with an adults, even their fathers, love and approval? It’s not me that’s cruel to people or animals.

@gyrate4 They don't encourage kids I don't know where you get your information from but it's irrelevant. Some kids are corrupted by it but only a few. Nothing happens to that kid that happens to enjoy hunting with his father. It's population control not cruelty

If Georges Laraque or Tony Gonzalez can survive without eating animals, then you can. Animals meant to eat meat never acquire arteriosclerosis. The leading cause of death in the USA is heart disease. Humans thrive without meat, so eating it is unnecessary.

If you eat meat of any kind, that means that animal was killed to feed you. What I think is cruel is the way the meat industry is cramming so many cows in small spaces or pigs, and even chickens, trying to met the demand for consumers.

Aren't you supposed to burn ticks off otherwise you run the risk of ripping its body off of its head and leaving the head burrowed under the skin(or in this case the poor animals eye). I'm not trying to leave a hateful comment like so many other youtubers have done already. I'm just not sure you are actually helping by removing it in that way.... Please correct me if I am wrong.

@BrewedLord That's only if a tick is really, really burrowed deeply and bloated. Usually that takes days: Until the tick is engorged, it's usually safe to just yank it off, because its head isn't all the way under the skin yet. I'd know: I've pulled hundreds off of my horse D; And I've only had to burn a couple off. Never had an infection yet, and that's *with* the horse playing in the mud.

we had a fawn years back and STUPIDLY called the EPA or whatever agency you call about wild animals to report it's mother was nowhere in sight....for days. The poor thing was crying like this and the EPA said to leave it alone and that the mother would return. Well, she didn't. She was probably killed on the nearby parkway. That poor little animal just kept crying. I vowed I would NEVER call a government agency for help again.
