Instead of using paper stuck together you could also use wrapping paper! It's much easier :)

@sadie375 Your bound to have atleast one fabric store in your city, like in MY city we have Fabricland, just look on the internet =) or your phone book. The fabric you should buy is the Swimming Suit feel type, just ask the person who is working =)

Water does get it in the tail because it is not water-proof. The water doesn't way you down at all though. It's just like wearing a bathing suit around your legs.

Are you referring to the clip at the begining? I just downloaded that off the internet and I'm not sure where it is. You can buy the fabric at your local fabric store or order it through the internet. What do you need a tutorial on?

I guess you could but with nothing to propel you in the water, the tail might weigh you down. The shape of the fluke also wouldn't hold very well.

You should only use fabric that is meant to get wet. Mine is called Dance and Swimwear fabric and can get completely wet without doing any damage to the fabric.

The monofin is very flexible and it can bend and fold inside the tail. If fold in half and push it through the part of your tail where the legs go, it should fit nicely into the end of your tail. Hope this helps :)

One more tip, from Hannah Fraser herself. She uses the Competitor fin from Finis. She cuts her fin into the V-shape to look more "fishy". I'm starting work on my tail tomorrow and I have the same fin you pictured. Don't know if it can be cut, but I think it will look better in a V.

My tail does not fit perfectly but its only bunched up because of the way I was sitting on the floor.  If your pattern is exactly like your legs and monofin, then it souldn't get bunched up.
