Oh if you get lucky in traffic can you do a little vid on that or add it to your vid review. I have not seen this feature in action yet. I do see the FM Traffic antenna go orange to green, i guess when it has connected and or updated live traffic information. Thanks
The replacement is working well and I use the traffic feature almost every day. I will include it in the next review for sure. When the delay reached a certain point, it will redirect to another route. Pretty cool.
refurbished :( oh well as long as it works, glad you got it. The only thing i haven't tried is the traffic thing. I haven't run into traffic yet lol. I did download (about 10) extra vehicles and 2 voices. Only voices with tts will say street names example at 500 feet turn left on main street versus turn left at 500 feet. Dr. nightmare is funny for the kids :)

I hope they don't make you wait for weeks :( ---- Got my 760 on 2-25-09 and wow this thing is great. I registered online updated firmware from 4.00 to 4.60. Also updated the map (it did come with 2009 maps).
bluetooth works great (via my cell phone). Sound through my car speakers sound great (i did have to lower my cat antenna) I did call garmin for some gerneral questions & they were very helpfull. I'm sure everything will work out for you :)
Good News! Sorta ... Garmin sent a replacement unit even before I returned my broken one. The problem is, they sent a refurbished unit to replace my new unit. Bad Bad Garmin.
It is working great, so far, and yes, some of the features are very compelling. I am planning another review now that I have a unit that works.
JUST IN::: For Costco members...Between March 2-22 , Costco will have the GARMIN 780 for $250...this might not be a big deal....but buying a GPS at Costco is because GPS DOES NOT fall under their 90 days limited waranteed....which means you can return the unit ANYTIME....I went thru 3 GPS updrades over the years without putiing any much money out at Costco.
