  • @NatashaHorseLover That was the Mindbender at Galaxyland. Same manufacturer, but a completely different layout ;)

  • theres only two loops....?

  • I love how it goes through the trees!

  • @fyadcorp Schwarzkopf makes both and they're both classic, but I think Mind Bender has an overall better experience hit me up and I'll tell you why

  • i remember the first time i went on the mind bender, i was screaming before the ride even began! LOL! it was really fun tho! :D

  • i don't know why you said it has a horizontal loop, because it doesn't; there are curves, but not loops!

  • @danny12315 oh my god this is basically why theme park employees (and everyone else) can't stand most coaster enthusiasts--so what if you run a website, you're the general public just like anyone else haha

  • How does SFOT's Shockwave compare to this one?

  • Comment removed

  • There is 3 loops. 2 vertical, 1 horizontal. Very fun coaster!

  • There might only be 2 vertical loops, but they are LAZY slow loops have that a POWERFUL push against you. There are faster coasters with more loops, but you do not feel them or experience their loops for nearly as long. Wonderfully great coaster, and my favorite.

  • Classic. Rode it for the first time in 1998...my first looping coaster. It's been a priority during my annual visits ever since.

  • @NatashaHorseLover What one that crashed?

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom There was an indoor roller coaster that had an incident called Mind Bender. The back car of the train fell off.

  • I rode this yesterday and I must say that loop d loop is so STRONG I help both of my hands up and it slapped me down onto the lap bar but I LOVE THIS RIDE

  • @monkeyluv60 Yup! Lap bars only, but that makes it even more fun. Also, about the third loop... it's technically horizontal, and a lot of people don't really consider it to be a loop. It's from 1:28 to 1:34, I believe.

  • I loved this rollercoaster so much. I was laughing through it the whole time!

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom

If you go to SFOG on a Sunday in the summer, how crowded is it?

  • uhh all it has is a lapbar????

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom do you have a POV of Mind Eraser @ six flags New England?

  • @BigD2895 Not yet.

  • Fun ride too bad it's plastered with ads

  • 1:40 feels like you r gonna come outta your seat and fly through the trees!

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom

what ride at six flags over ga do u reccomend for someones first rollercoaster

  • @PerfectDressageGirl You can start with Dahlonega Mine Train & after that try this one.

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom Is there any coaster like this at Six Flags Great America?

  • @benthebad Not really. Whizzer is made by the same company, but doesn't have the loops & uses different trains (of course).

  • @PerfectDressageGirl

the mindbender was my first coaster... i didnt know it had 3 loops. my friend told me it did when we were going up the hil and when i went down i screamed holy $h!t!

  • @FalconPawnch2011 in this video it only had 2 loops?

  • Comment removed

  • they didn't fix the lap bar right over my legs because i'm so tall and could barely fit my knees under it, so one knee wasn't under the bar, and going through the loops i almost flew completely out of this ride, and i had to press my knee as hard as i could against the bar to hold it under it; i was screaming at my friend to pull me down as i was flying up above him, and he couldn't hear me and kept screaming for the ride; those behind me saw it and helped pull me down; i bitched at the workers

  • @spyyder976 get better at riding coasters bro.

  • Were you at all waiting for a tree branch to smack you? That's what I would've been thinking. & w/ my luck I actually would've been hit by one too... Awesome vids man.

  • you are my idol coasterforce. bringing my cam this sunday, gonna ask for permission to film a POV

  • i read the description, and i dont understand,,, what's the difference between a horizontal loop and a vertical loop?

  • My mom rode this at Six Flags Senior Night in 1978 (which is when this opened).

The line went all over the park. I'm serious.

  • @bigpboy1012 it opened march 25th 1978..when i first saw the mindbender i thought it was the ugliest coaster in the world it was a grayish silver color with a blue sewage round tunnel, which they got rid of a year later and check this out in 1979 the mindbender made a siren noise whenever it hit the first loop..they should bring that siren back.

  • What are all those girls screaming about? It's not even an intense ride!

  • Fun!! I love it how it goes through the trees. :)

  • Does Schwarzkopf start off all of his stationaries the same way

(EXTREMELY SLOW lift hill, dippy turnaround, drop, and loop)?

  • I didn't see the horizontal loop, where is it?

  • @JerseyShore117 It starts at 1:28 and ends at 1:35

  • @2brothersvideos Oh okay thanks

  • IS this a job? riding these rides & video-taping them? I WAANNA APPLY! hoW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE!? IM serios! =)

  • @nina5243 It's not a job. It's a hobby & you have to be old enough to afford it.

  • whoever made this video doesnt know what theyre talking about, theres no such thing as a horizonal loop, this roller coaster has 2 inversions. I could have understood if you were referringt o a helix (though that would still be wrong), but this doesnt even have one of those.

  • @skitzo429 We run one of the largest & most comprehensive roller coaster/theme park websites in the world, so we do know what we're talking about. There is such thing as a horizonal loop & there are quite a few coasters with non-inversion loops. The newest is Hollywood, Rip, Ride, Rockit at Universal Studios Florida.

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom Im familiar with the ride, its considered the textbook "non inverting loop," there are no analogous track elemnts on mind bender corresponding to the noninverting loop on hollywood rip ride rockit. Since when did any marginally circular noninverting track element become a loop? I dont buy that this is a 'terrain coaster' either, that would seem to have to encompass all ride with drops down to the ground, the Beast and the thunderbolt are terrain coasters.

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom but if it isn't an inversion, then it is a helix, not really a loop

  • @skitzo429 You've just messed with the masters/kings/gods of coasters.

  • I dont even see the horizontal loop. Are you talking about that thing at 1:26?

  • It actually looks smooth!!

  • @StuartRedman1 IT's actually pretty smooth!

  • It goes upside-down 2 times and has 2 loops. That thing on it's side. It means it's on it's side not upside-down. And just because it's upside-down doesn't mean it's a loop. There are corkscrews heartline rolls cobra rolls etc.

  • @SFOG97 its not a loop. if its not an inversion, its not a loop.

  • @skitzo429 it has officially been clarified by Six Flags parks as an inversion

  • @SFOG97 thats perfectly ridiculous, it doesnt invert.

  • @skitzo429 There are coasters that have non-inverting loops. The best example is the new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster at Universal Studios Florida. It has a huge loop, but the coaster never inverts. It was designed that way to be more family friendly.

  • Put yt:stretch=4:3 and yt:crop=16:9 as tags for the video to fix the picture.

  • u know the sound it makes while you are waiting when it goes theough the first loop? i love that sound :D

  • @chuck3493 Mt!!

  • IT HAS 3 LOOPS PPL!!! theres 2 verticle then one on its side AND YES IT IS CONSIDERED A LOOP ITS JUST LAYED ON ITS SIDE!!!!!! its a very fun not to scary roller coaster though its a classic...

  • @ryanbrunsOfficial its not a loop, its just an inversion

  • @ryanbrunsOfficial there are two loops, theres no such thing as a "horizontal loop," if its not an inversion, its not a loop, there are 2 inversions

  • @skitzo429 spergin'

  • if there were a third loop u would be upside down 3 times u were upside down twice on that

  • why do they say its a 3 loop its only two.......i rode this its alot of fun

  • @0612930410941 theres 2 loops vertiacal and 1 on its side

  • @0612930410941 their 2 loops vertical and 1 on its side

  • I LOVE THIS RIDE!!! :D

  • considering theres no shoulder restraints i would be a little scared

  • I've rode mind bender many times and there only two loops .

  • @kavian121 Basically what vertical loops is, is noticable loops. the horizontal are unnoticable theres 3

  • @kavian121 you know the awkard turn after the first loop? thats the second loop

  • i got a video on goliath at six flags over georgia, same view as this one

  • THAT's a Schwarzkopf ???????? Wild! I gotta go on this!

  • Okay to clear things up. There is really only 2 loops/inversions. The park advertised it has having 3 loops/inversions to increase publicity. The park considered the dive at 1:29 to be a inversion., but it's not. Corkscrew at Cedar Point was the first coaster to have 3 inversions.

  • Two Vertical and one HORIZONTAL!

  • wow that was mind bending hahah 5/5

  • Well, both of you guys are wrong, it has 3 loops it's just that one of the loops go doesn't upside down, it is between 1:27 to 1:36. So yea... it's hard to find but it's there. A loop doesn't have to go upside down always. Just here to help :D

  • Umm....No. It was designed by Werner Stengel and built by Schwarzkopf, always intended to have 2 full loops. If you look at 1:55 like you said, there's no room to fit another loop. And why would they build the ride with 3 loops, test it, then a mere month before opening remove it, get more steel, and build it back without a record-breaking loop? Not only is it BS, but it's also not logical. And I can tell from your profile you have a LOT of room to talk about coasters. Get your facts straight.

  • I counted two loops. The first triple looping coaster was Corkscrew at Cedar Point. This has two loops. Period.

  • Oh, at 1:15 it is just bumpy sometimes going into that loop...you have to be careful it you want to hold your hands up, it'll suck you back down! :)

  • what is Scwarzkopf? looks fun but seen better

  • Jerry, nice footage as always. Being a Schwarzkopf fan-boy, I have been wanting to ride this for many years now...

  • Only 2 loops by my count

  • Love, love, love this ride! It has all the elements of a GREAT coaster - intensity, smoothness, air time, laterals. A work of genius!

  • best ride ever :D

  • Finally a good pov of this ride. Also you are right this is probably the best terrain coater.

  • ummm 2 loops

  • What the heck happened at 1:15?

But... Nice Coaster. I like Schwarzkopf with 4-tube.

  • 1:15 is the start of the loop, if that's what you're referring to.

  • I'm not stoopid. -.- I mean "why it is so unsmooth"?

  • i love coasters that fly through the trees

makes you feel like a bird

  • the first time I rode this the stop at the begginng made me think it was broken haha.

  • that looks so awesome!!!!!!!!

  • they had to hae changed this ride

  • Nope, it's the same! Execpt the new "hair gel" cars are SO STUPID!!! They are the same desing of the old cars, just with different paint, and it's from U2 hair gel or something...it's been there this entire year and it's annoying...

  • There is somthing about this coaster I like alot!

  • I love this ride! I just wanted to point out one thing. One of the cool things about this coaster is that it actually has 3 loops, 2 vertical and 1 horizontal. It was the world's first 3 looping coaster! :)

  • I don't count the inclined helix as a "loop."

  • the helix isnt really considered as a loop..cuz its not like a real inclined loop that u usually see on stand up coasters and other ones..

  • Well, the only reason I say it's a "loop" is because on Wikipedia it says that exact statement that it has 3. Type in Six Flags Over Georgia and at the bottom of the page it will have a list of all the current and past rides. Mindbender will be listed there and it says that in the description...somewhere. I get what you mean though, I wouldn't really say it's a loop, but that's what it says on Wikipedia...

  • wkipedia can be edited u no??

  • Yeah, but it's neem like that for a long time, and it's the official page.

  • i rode this 6 times in a row

  • this looks like a perfect coaster. i want to go on it sooooooooo badly

  • i love that ride first time i rode it was in the 4th grade although i like superman better

  • This was one of my first coasters I have ever ridden last year, it was so awesome!

  • AWESOME@!!! I RODE IT ONCE
