I think you really got it, That's The Way is just about their best effort ever with Black Money coming close. There is something about Helen being all screaming passion and Boy George's vocals ... cool, distant ... better than the A-side as originally issued

This is so gorgeous. I agree that it should have been the A-side, rather than the B-side of Love Lies Lost. Released in spring of 1984, it had a very prophetic lyric for Boy George: "Now I face a mountain of smiles and receptions, mystical fountain I'm aware of deceptions." Wonderful.

I heard this song many years ago on some bootleg CD. I don't think it was actually ever released due to George and Helen's fued. She is amazing and deserves credit. George sounds good too. Good job Frankie, again!!!!
