  • Wow, the Oldham legend Philip Schofield interviewing the legend that is Neil Finn! Can't believe how good Message to my girl is, its a classic.

  • This interviewer is almost like a fortune teller at the end, the way he says, "Good luck in your respective careers, I'm sure IT WILL WORK INCREDIBLY WELL." Of course I'm referring to the wildly successful Crowded House, one of my favorite bands of all time, along with Split Enz!

  • Hey that's Philip Schofield interviewing!

  • Love the reference by Neil to Te Awamutu College!!! yeeeahh, proud to be a T.A. college old boy.

  • I was never a fan of their early progressive stuff.

  • It's 'Maybe', off Mental Notes.

  • Yes

  • 3:33... oh they sang that.

  • Really great interview. I'm a huge Finn fan.

  • I just think it's amazing to hear Philip Schofield with his prepubescent NZ accent.

  • This is really cool! Split Enz goes back to 1974! I had no idea and I consider myself a pretty diehard Enz fan! They were so different and refreshing considering 1974 was long hair, smoking weed and free love! New York dolls always got noted for coming out in the late 70's as one of the first bands to wear full on make-up-----I beg to differ!!!!

  • Actually the New York Dolls were around in the early 70s.
