  • HEAAAH! >:O *Kills bat*

  • Hey that's actually well done. Nice! :D

  • 2 words: bad ass

Another 2 more words: super awesome

Lastly, I find it weird that we share the same name. Moreso, the same SPELLING, which itself is really uncommon.

  • the game with the sound redone exists?

  • I love that Song!!! Castlevania Curse of Darknes: Abandoned Castle... Excelent Choice!

  • :´)

  • i never got a working rom for this. full of ascii errors

  • Great piece of work here, thanks for sharing

  • wow, awesome!

  • i hope you dont mind me useing this vid

  • @MalkManFilms

    For?

  • @Cavetreasure good question i don't remember...

    ... oops

  • A true labor of love. Kudos to you.

  • From all the bs by the non fans of castlevania, this video was very well done and I love the sound effect. Liked the added zombie kill too xD keep up the good work bro

  • HYAAAAAH !!!

    I love that S.E.

  • The "H'YAAAHH!!" is such a fucking great sound effect.

  • why did you use shadow of the colossus as the bgm?? castlevania and sotc are two totally different games and have been given specific soundtracks by their designers for a reason. this is just a poor selection

  • sound like gay porn

dont ask me how i know that

  • it sound like castelvania curse of darkness

  • The added sound FX are cool, but I can't believe the BGM music is different. Castlevania III has some of the best BGM in existence.

  • FUCK! How could you do this to this fabulous game? The most charming thing about Dracula's Curse is the music and sound fx.

That aside, well done. Are the sounds part of the game or inserted much like Foley fx?

  • lol pirting music from curse of darkness are we???...lol cool sounds though. I likes it.

    d

  • first i was thinking: meh nothing special and after all the light strike

    HOLY SHIT

  • wow that's a amazing. please put more videos like that up!

  • Excellent stuff!

Is this a hacked together edit, or is it a game modification/game engine recreation programming project that intends to alter the sound core of the game to be able to utilize more modern sound capabilities?

    Either way, very neat!

  • Shadow of the Colossus!!

  • how did u edit ur sounds? specially when simon is shouting haaa!!

  • The whole thing was done in Adode Premiere. I had to add in one sound effect at a time.

The 'Haaa' sound is just me. :)

  • @deoxynchro His name is Trevor, actually. Simon hasn't been born yet.

  • @deoxynchro it isn´t simon its TREVOR

  • @deoxynchro Btw it isn't Simon, its Trevor.

  • omg!!!!! i love the intro sound!!! even the graphics is bad..the sound is great!!!!!!

  • Good job, but now I'd like to see this project be continued: Clock Tower, Mad Forest, Haunted Ship, Curse Castle, Causeway, Dracula's Castle ...

  • "All sound effects and speech is completely original"

Ah, now that explains a lot

  • Frickin awesome! You should do this with the first one and Simon's Quest.

  • I agree (Castlevania should NEVER die)

  • Music replacements I'd like to see, among others:

Replace "Bloody Tears" in CV2 with CV64's recurring dungeon theme.

  • lol this is great!

  • Dude, you beat me to this! I had thought about doing the exact same thing. Nice job, though!

  • That "heeya!" grunting is terrible.

  • agreed.

  • the heyah makes me crazy too, but think of the effort, man

  • Awesome job.

  • great work

  • That's great. I would have to suggest to make more!

  • Great to see you featured on Screwattack! As always, top notch work my friend. Hope to see more of these in the future.

  • Thats impressive :D !

  • Very cool concept and executed perfectly. Also, congratulations for being featured on ScrewAttack.

  • i think if a game was really good enough, and had modern sounds like this people would still play, despite the low resw ould still play

  • good job

  • Awesome...

  • Very Cool!

  • Very well done :)

  • Awesome video, it must have taken a long time to make.

And congrats on getting your video featured on Screwattack!

  • Man, this is pretty awesome stuff. How long did it take you to sync everything up?

  • Many, many hours :(

Creating the sound effects for the items, enemy deaths, doors, whip, etc. took way too long. I would say it say it took about 3 solid days to complete the whole thing.

    Big thanks for watching!

    Erik

  • curse of darkness sounds

  • they should do a 3d remake of this game

  • If its done in the Bionic Commando Rearmed way, you bet! I would love that.

  • How about a 2.5D for this game??? It wouldn't be possible to make it just 3D you know....

  • you have a point

  • IGA should.... NO, IGA MUST REMAKE CASTLEVANIA 3!!!!!

  • Oh yeah! He mentioned in an interview that it was his second favorite Castlevania. I would love to see it happen.

  • great stuff love it

  • hahaha, this is beautiful!

  • Yet more proof that sound makes such a difference. I never played or even cared to watch C3 before, you made it look very appealing. The death noises are awesome "BDLOIE!" You ought to do "ADVENTURE" for ATARI 2600. It's hard for most younger ones to appreciate it's quest and battle qualities.

  • "BDLOIE!" Thanks for watching, man. Whoa Adventure on 2600. The square holding keys and items... Now that is OLD! haha :)

  • I assume you watched the Sin & Punishment 2 Trailer. You ever get guff from anyone for preferring Treasure games best? Weird isn't it?

  • Oh yeah all the time. Mainly it's because they don't know who the company is. Sad! I tend to go back to developers who prove themselves time after time. It's for that reason I bought Soul Calibur 4 on the day of. I didn't have to play a demo, I knew exactly what I was getting.

  • Yeah kinda like buying a painting because you know who the artist is. People just ignorantly don't see that the people within big Corperations make up the right stuff that make the games cool. That's why I always say, I wait for the day when Sega hand Sonic over to Treasure. Could you imagine?

  • wtf why lol

  • Wow, this video proves that a great soundtrack/sound effects can really make a game a lot better.

    Good show good sir.

  • This shows by how much sound can enhance the game experience.

I hope you continue with this "Old Games, New Sound" series. Keep up the good work.

  • Big Thanx!

The next game I'm going to try is Life Force on NES. There are some big possibilties there!

    Thanks for watching

  • Can't wait! More goodness.

  • Wow.... this video is awesome!!!.. love the way you picked the best songs for the game...

Really wanna thank Jedahdoma for sharing this vids... thanks man!!!

  • Yep thanks alot Jedahdoma, this was awsome man.

    This new soundtrack is awsome

  • I do what I can because I just love too much.

  • Dear

    Sweet

    Merciful

    Lord

    Up

    Above

That was absolutely amazing! Again, another great dub of the sounds and music. The sound effects were spot on and just what one would imagine them to be if the game had been remade today. If only this was a reality. Keep up the good work my friend!
