  • Comment removed

  • That guy on deck is the luckiest son of a bitch walking!!

  • FIGHT SOPA EVERYONE!!!! >:(

  • Whats this man doing in his Fruit of the Looms?

  • I wondering what the camera man is thinking... "This is interesting, Hmmm..."

  • did they died?

  • all of them did.

  • Wow he did put it back down fast...lucky

  • Lucky bastards

    Dk

  • Someone commented earlier about that guy saying prayers quickly. I don't know about anybody else but later I would have been in long prayers ( plural ) of THANKS !!!!!

  • Greenpeace uses such CO2-emitting machines? Shame on them!

  • If you notice the helicopter rocks forward a little every time the deck of the ship heaves. once the pilot was light on the skids, a heave of the ship would be all it takes to get the helicopter airborne earlier than the pilot anticipated. Nice job putting her down, early recognition of tail rotor loss due to striking the deck. I dont know if I buy the deck strap theory that the poster indicates. You clearly see all the deck straps being removed and actually being taken away by the ground crew.

  • @TomVaillencourt yes, i can see that

  • @ 0:28 the guy to the left probably shit his pants. lmao

  • 1:50 "oh sorry, did i hit you?"

  • damn he knew as soon as that tail rotor broke all he could do was keep that nose spinning over the heilipad and took out all throttle and that guy shittin his pants as that rotor broke right next to him fuckin a great vid!! :D

  • Either a really good pilot for the 360 or a shit one for fukin it up

  • i definitely would have jumped off the fucking deck to avoid being chopped into people pieces if i saw that shit happening

  • the dude was thinking am i going to be choped to bits?

  • Wow that could of been a very bad day.

  • ahem... LIKE A BAWS

  • drop and rooollll !!! epic

  • Whoa! That was a close call. I would bet my last dollar that deck hand was saying his prayers fast!

  • Very poor set up if there's nobody watching to give the all clear for take off.

  • 360 noscope x)

  • SKILLED PILOT... NOT... watch the vid.......the pilot was ''unaware'' that the deckhand had returned to remove the snagged tie... pilot tried to take off without realising he was tied up... MORE LIKE A LUCKY PILOT....

  • Greenpeace has helicopters? ;)

  • choppy seas thrusted the craft airborn n forward

  • must of seen a shark

  • @iNSANEOMORPH Ahahahha

  • That guy's brain almost became chum bait for the sharks.. glad no one was hurt.

  • Dynamic roll over he know if that happen you must immediately lower the collective pitch.

  • OHHHHHHHH ! 360!

  • Skilled pilot..

  • Look at that guy on the left just before the accident. Boy, did he freak out. (I would too!)

  • Do dah Barrel Roll

  • the tail rotor got hit making it go into a tailspin

  • is this real life?

  • Fucking greenpeace amateurs

  • Ooph!

    The heck propeller is lost.

    Good job Mr. Pilot.

  • go "fazil775" youtube channel ;

  • FLOP

  • mind your legs 1:00

  • lucky guy.....hehe

  • good pilot

  • That what hapen when yu play inverted XD

  • lool i can bend to your needs

  • @SuperTruth77 your my hero. That kid annoyed the hell out of me.

  • Nice Recovery Pilot. That was sick

  • Comment removed

  • nice recovery pilot.

  • My days as a helicopter pilot ended in tragedy. I was landing at a large summer fair where the organisers had STUPIDLY placed a trampoline next to the helipad.

Next thing I know, there’s loads of screaming & people are calling me a ‘murderer’ trying to drag me out & lynch me! The Judge said it WASN’T MY FAULT that a kid had bounced up into the blades & got decapitated. He DID criticise me for making a quick getaway, but how was I to know the head had landed in the back of the cockpit?

  • stupid green peace losers. would make the world a safer place had they been sprayed all over the deck.

  • çhjįŷry ghfrtŷ ant erèŵq

  • najo komme aus münchen

  • That man was so lucky he almost made friends with the blades of glory

  • Exposed blades and an antiqued design are so freaking dangerous.

  • Lucky Fuck

  • That bloke shatt himself!!!!

  • FFFFFSSSS imagine how be to man who stay on rear of the platform :):):):)

  • Wut a pro

  • soso komme aus deutschland

  • Omg. Big luck :)

  • mmh sensual and artistic!

  • I cant even do this with a car!

  • omg 360 turn!!

  • When someone says do a barrel roll. Its a fucking joke!

  • @12GAshotgunnersrain that was not a barrel roll

  • Too bad he didn't sink the ship.

  • watch my helicoter crash too!

  • damm that deck crew was lucky.

  • It was a poorly timed take off attempt, not caused by lack of collective, but by the pitch and roll of the ship as the weight transfer moved from the skids to the rotor. You can see it hop slightly as the ship is coming down just before the accident happens.

  • tap tap hooo my god bless

  • Der Tod hatte wohl andere Pläne für den einen Mann :D

  • well, i know my question has nothing to do with the video, but why choppers with ducted tail rotors do a loud whining sound, when the duct actually is made to do less noise ? like the as 565 panther and the gazelle, for example.. thnx

  • @BoKaUm88 generally ducted tail thrust vectoring usually works best @ operating rpm as the blade rotation dampens the noise, also exhaust velocity is imperitive when it comes to the effectiveness of such systems.

Do you mean in spool up & beta? or at operating conditions?

  • @houstonair operational conditions... see the panther, and the bigger bells, for example..

  • human error fucker pilot ashole get back and learn how to takeoff

  • OOOOHHHH GOD

  • You see, I cannot see a deck strap holding that helicopter at any point. I can see a civilian registered helicopter on an unknown vessel making an unscheduled and poorly controlled take-off in conditions that appear to be marginal for safe operation. One has to wonder about the qualifications of the pilot for ship borne aviation. The reputation of Naval Aviators for their skills, be it fixed wing or rotary is not without foundation. Amateurs should not try it at home.

  • @MSavageEsq Quite. This is a good case study for young naval aviators in how not to conduct deck ops. Very poor, not just the pilot but the whole flight deck crew whose conduct suggests they have had no training in this demanding work. Amateurs.

  • Looks like the heli suffered tail rotor failure, but this could have been caused by te heli's reaction to the snafued strap.

  • dps q a merda quase foi feita q o fdp tira a potencia das helices, so devia ter dado carga qnd realmente foçe levantar voo, piloto de merda.

  • what a pratt, didn`t suss out wind configfgurations, thats an art , but that guys a plonker !!!!!

  • did he sneez?

  • Meu Deus!

  • The guy next to it is one lucky men

  • Uhh..it is terrible!!!-and 9.268 people like it??-WHY??

  • He just checked his brakes.

  • This is how i used to fly helicopter in GTA vice city.

  • At 1:00 the guy barely escape helicpter blades.

  • MOVE BITCH GET OUT THE WAY

  • The copter went right straight ahead with the tail rising up. that is a typical reaction when you liftoff. the guy on the back of the skid, he has the strap on his hands when the copter try to take off. Look at minute 1:10 left superior corner...

  • I'd of jumped overboard, not ducked for my life like that dummy did! Prolly didn't wanna ruin his iphone.

  • @PyR0Star Yes, cos jumping overboard a stern of a boat in cold water is an intelligent thing to do, especially because when you ruin your 3GS you can ask for a 4.

  • The pilot's seat on a helicopter is usually on the right side of the aircraft - so, I suppose that probably the pilot had seen the guy at its right leave, then he started paying attention to what the guy at the left side of it was doing when the other guy noticed there was still a strap and rushed back to undo it, then the guy at the right failed to communicate the pilot there was still somebody working there and that the aircraft couldn't take off yet. It was all about poor communication IMHO.

  • @Ginyu I'm sorry if you think I'm silly. I'm only 10 and a half :0(

  • cool like a dancing choper for noob ADULT'S movie hehhehe

  • SURPRISED THE PILOT DIDN'T GET OUT AND KICK THE FUCK OUT OF THEM...

  • Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly? Oh, wait... That's why.

  • @TheDilke There was a deck strap not released..has nothing to do with the pilot..if anything nice save.and the 80's called and wants their "say no to drugs" smoke and fly joke back. How silly.

  • The men left on the deck was swearing to the god that if I live that pilot will gonna have jolly time.

  • at times like these u never know if this a was a case of being a lucky retard or being the best pilot ever...

  • the pilot was at fault, not the deck crew,he was in a rush or just a poor pilot

  • @68crewza You sir are retarded.

  • @watty31 both yes and no. the pilot is very skilled considering he managed to set her down after the tail rotor was destroyed. but the pilot did some sort of mistake at take of causing him to get to much speed foreward.

  • @djrgg You sir are also retarded.

  • @68crewza

It seems like the tail rotor was messed up, causing the helicopter to spin.

  • @Lolagramful the tail rotor hit the deck while he was trying to take off.

  • @bassinix

    Oh, I didn't notice.

    Thanks for pointing that out.

  • Good save, completely professional, as well as the two guys knowing to duck down and Get the hell out of their. They coudlve gotten chopped up!

  • The helicopter wasn't stuck, the pilot failed to lift into a hover before attempting forward take off and had to pull back quickly to avoid hitting the ship and had tail rotor strike as a result.

  • @chandleroz, I'm not a pilot nor have any understanding of how a helicopter works, but I notice the waves shifted the helicopter up and a bit forward 2 or 3 times before the liftoff. It almost looks like the motion of the waves sent it forward and the pilot tried to react.

  • fake

  • @TheDoccobra You're fake dumbfuck

  • ha Lets rock baby

  • @bunglebeans29. That would have been epic

  • In Mother Russia, the chopper gets to you!

  • Biggest toy helicopter ever!

  • that guy at the back shit his pants,,,,,but its okay for him too

  • i was the guy at the back

  • that was close, man!!

  • that guy in the background is lucky to be alive. imagine if a blade went through him!

  • That is not going to be one happy gearbox.

  • the guy in the left shit his pants!! lol

  • tail rotor got fucked up

  • This was NOT just luck. Yes, it was a mistake to get airborne so fast (without a clear deck at least; the guy was still at the RH skid), but his reaction was fast and 100% correct. Not to mention that in a situation like that, fear commands your brain and you tend to pull collective (and kill yourself, your crew and passengers....)

  • omfg thatr was so close/lucky daaaamn you can see the tail rotor hitting the pad. woohaaa so lucky

  • Skill and quick thinking??? My ball sac. That bastard is lucky. He went into a spin because his rear prop broke when it hit the deck. If the boat or heli had rolled or yawed a few degrees, this would be a death tape.

  • Pilot like a boss

  • @felipe15minutos YES!!

  • well.. the wave was powerful then xD

  • insurance fraud i was on the rig

  • Is he deathed?

  • Luck beats good.

  • that was all luck

  • Pilot skill?! Do me a favour - that was pure luck!!!

  • Look at the guy behind the helicopter.

  • is it the pilot, or is it the luck

  • I'm going to buy a hummer

  • pasiseke ir tiek

  • My roflcopter goes soi soi soi soi soi soi soi

  • imagine if blades had hit the guy below it...

  • Lucky, really lucky

  • Like a G(TA) 6

  • i think it raised because of the rough seas, that big wave acted like a trampoline

  • The pilot is not an idiot, the blades on helicopters are heavy enough that dropping the collective ( the main rotor and engine control) does not have immediate effect and the blades take just a second to slow down. It is obvious you have no idea what you are talking about so, unless you fly or at least know helicopter systems, dint be so quick to judge. The pilot did the right thing, he brought the helicopter down without going into the water and without causing harm to any personnel, or the sh

  • what an idiot why couldnt he just shut of the enging

  • @9876672 you are a fool mate know what you are talkin about before you type next time! every was very lucky there, good pilot, bad deck hand.

  • Nice take off :)

  • PARCEL DELIVERY

  • It is not accident. It is incident.

  • FAKE Helicopters aren't real.

  • he should thank his lucky stars.

  • Not only that last strap but I think also that last wave fucked him up... Quick thinking and nice landing.... would have been a great thumbs up tho if it wasnt Greenpeace

  • to bad it didnt crash,id love to see that guy on deck meet the rotor:)

  • noobs

  • @0:59 lucky basterd..
