aa is crap. the incompetence permeates from the top down. crap seating, prices, food, website, fees, baggage handling. it is all crap. their attendants are ugly, mean, and unmotivated.
this is soo sad, my dad works there i only see him sunday and monday he works 3 hours away from where we live, so we dont get to see him that much, and it is right before christmas, it is soo terrible, so dont post negative comments because that can really hurt some people.
corporate greed cut top management see their money income.They think by cutting employees they can make more on bonuses double tasking Employees and letting then suffer till they die then replace them the next day.
They deserve to go belly-up! I've never had to deal with a more incompetent bunch of people. Try using their website sometime. I can't believe these people are allowed to fly planes.

So American buys hundreds of new planes, then bawls to the judge about "stifling labor costs". Give be a break. Arpey okays stupid policies that enrage customers, retires, and leaves us at the bottom to clean up (and pay for) his mess.. Do people really want to elect a business man to run the country????? But I'm the one who will pay for them. Do you know why airlines love baggage "fees"? Because a fee doesn't have to be taxed as income. The airline rakes in mountains of tax-free cash. Do you think any of the workers who took giant pay cuts after 9/11 see any of it? Nope. So now Arpey gets to retire with a giant chunk of that 4 billion, and we will all get more pay cuts. Thanks a lot, 1%. You guys are so great.
Rebecca is right, I'm sad to say. I'm a front line customer service worker at American, and the horrible customer service policies I've been forced to impose on people are a major part of our demise. The corporate bosses have been getting stingier and stingier, and their bonuses get bigger and bigger. Telling people like Rebecca they don't get help after being stranded, charging for garbage food, charging for bags - no one at my level is making these awful business decisions.
That's what Arrogant Airlines gets for having such horrible customer service! The only airline that has left me stranded and they did it twice without an apology nor hotel room voucher! Good riddance, I say. America needs to let capitalism run it's course and let the best company with the best service win!
@rebeccacastoldi Sarcasm? The unions did their part, a took a huge pay cut and worked without a renewed contract since 2003. Don't believe everything the news says; it's coming straight from corporate. And if you want better service, just spend more to gain quality- simple as that. Plane tickets are cheap so everyone (yes, you too) can fly. Never expect to pay less (while unions earn less) and still get the same quality... Common sense kid

Unions are a drain and a drag on any economy they sink their leech-like barbs into. The same can be said of the government - anything they get involved in regulating gets so over burdened in red tape, a company would sooner go under than try to squeeze blood from a stone.

CEO Arpey's salary was supposed to be $650K per yer but he cleared nearly $7 Million last yr alone... So thats ok but its not ok for the workers to make at least $35K... You just another Suit trying to justify his way of life of screwing workers.... a money worshiper
when it all goes wrong and the company does not make a profit blame labor and the union.
