@bucky468 The scene(s) are from episodes. The "famous" use of "In The Air Tonight" was in the pliot for the 1st season with Tubbs and Crockett driving the Daytona clone roadster to a confrontation.

@bucky468 The song was used twice in Miami Vice-the Testarosa appears later in the series-look for an ep called "Bullet For Crockett" (close to that title anyway).

@rdnkengnr No I meant the actual driving. I remember Sonny driving solo (to another song not by Phil Collins) but I don't remember the actual ep. I remember "A Bullet For Crockett" & "In The Air Tonight" played at the beginning. I know you compiled this clip making it look as if Sonny's driving (sans Tubbs) to Phil Collins when in reality it was another song by a different artist. I just wanted to know the ep where most of the driving scenes came from.

@bucky468 OH, I don't know what ep the scenes of Sonny driving thru a commercial area are from-been much too long. I just recall that Sonny andTubbs chased a Porsche Turbo in the white Testarosa to the point-in-time where Sonny gets shot by a GF of a suspect. I just assumed that they acquired the white Testarosa in that ep.

@rdnkengnr No, "Stone's War" from season 3 would've been the introduction of the Testarosa. His hair was not as near as long as it was in the clip you made. It would be longer the final 2 seasons of MV. You might've gathered clips from those 2 seasons. His hair back in season 3 was much different and shorter. A couple episodes when Sonny was taking a (non chase) cruise in the Testarosa. One after he accidentally shot a 10 yr old kid who was used by a suspect & bolted to see his son in Georgia.

@rdnkengnr One from "Death & The Lady" where he drove the Testarosa around town b/c he was bothered by a woman who was murdered during the making of a "dirty movie" in a case he & the MV squad were investigating right after the movie maker he busted was released from jail. He also went for a drive in it during a couple other eps including an ep when Sonny was married to Sheena Easton's character of Caitlin. There was an ep when he was in LA & Miami. I think the drive part was in Miami.

@pootang12000 Funny though Tubbs always wore socks but Crockett NEVER did, except for maybe the scene in the first part of "Freefall" where he's wearing combat boots when Crockett & Tubbs are at battle w/militants as they're trying to get that dictator back to Miami.

yeah, i agree. great editing. the music and the down-shifting really get you fired up right after he makes that right turn. he's like "fuck it" lets kick it up a notch. i'm sure he was listening to Phil at the time too, which accounts for a lot.
