i don't remember the numbers exactly but i believe that with the game itself you can make 4-6 characters, then with each expansion you gain 2 slots for more characters.

i got a few questions 1.on you stating ranger equptment do you get a bow and arrow 2. are the arrows perm like you dont need to buy more 3. can you have a pet in this game

1. you actually just have a bow without arrows, they're magic or something so you don't need them to actually fight. 2. as far as i know there's no buying arrows, just bows. 3. yes you can have a pet in the game as a ranger but it is more of a familiar

you get a starting bow with unfinite arrows.. but u get drops and can buy new bows and better and rare u know the whole deal. and yes u can have a pet as long as its an animal and not a demon..

nope, an RPG character can PVP aswel.

yes, a very big difference. in nightfall you get 2 new classes for characters. in eye of the north you not only get 2 new classes but you get to change the species of your characters

no, you dont. When Guildwars 2 comes out, then you will be able to pick from different races. No new classes in eye of the north either.

at the beggining whats the difference brtween roleplaying character and pvp only character?

roleplaying character is for playing with or without a party and you can do quests but you can't fight other players. pvp is where you make a character who is at the max level (20) and you can participate in the gamer wars where the American, European and Asian teams fight for the favor of the gods.

no, that is how your character will look throughout the game except for the armor, you can get better armor and dye the armor but the hair and skin and such will stay the same

Role playing characters start at level 1 you level them to 20 by doing various quests,missions,killing stuff, they can also do pvp, Pvp character can just do pvp and start out at lvl 20

I would choose Factions, but dats my opinion so u can choose either Nightfall or Factions i think.

well i have factions (first expansion) and nightfall (second expansion) but mainly it depends on which classes you want. there are six you get from the original, then an extra 2 you get depending on the expansion. i don't remember them exactly, but i would say go with factions first, then if you don't like it, uninstall, return it and get nightfall.

well, you fight by yourself unless you're in a party or have Henchman to help you. at check points you see the other players. and yes it's online, no monthly fee, just have to buy the software
