BB gun, you'll shoot your eyes out, I had a RAM SCOPE back then, love it. me and friend pull mom dine room table apart and cut a hole in the big cardboard for the scope and play submarine. told my crew the coast is clear of mom. we surface and ran to get coke, sandwick and chip to take back into the sub. yea one of my crew is a dog, he help to clean up the mess we made. but mom knew anyway. mmmm think I build cardboard sub for grandkids tomorrow.
Well our Dad's had just returned from WWII and raising their families and all we heard were war stories. So there were lots of Army toys in the 50's and 60's.. Things got a lot wackier in the '70's when we had another war going on and we didn't want to hear about that stuff..We wanted Far Out Crazy Stuff to play with..
@RetroGoop We have some real far out whacky things now. Fictional characters who kids want their "action figure"... some guy who looks like a sponge and lives in the bottom of the ocean with some guy who looks kind of like a stack of snot??? Where are the cowboys, indians, baby dolls, or teddy bears? Man, this is a strange world, now.
