  • I think, it´s to fast to follow. I play guitar since 40 years, but I can´t follow your fingers without a tabulature, it´s a pity. I would like to play Lick 15 :-(....

  • wow, you play awsome, thanks for the tips, Im totally using them!!

  • I didn't know if he had hair or not....lol. It's thr first time I've seen him without a hat on. Awesome guitar!! This is the type of playing that inspires me to practice more.

  • Doug Seven is one of the best country pickers iv'e seen but I agree if he would slow down it would be a little easier to follow.

  • I love the sound but I cant follow his stuff either. Way too fast on the video. He is a god on guitar but his video teaching is way too hard to follow. Possibly if you get his course it might be easier to follow with the tabs, but without a money back guarantee I won't buy the course for fear that I would never be able to play the stuff. I have been playing off and on for about 30 years myself.

  • Not for beginners here... I play guitar for 20 years and I really feel he teaches too fast his run ?

  • Não deu pra entender nada!!!

  • This stuff is great ... really appreciate talented players like this guy, Josh Zee, etc. What I don't get is all the negatives ... seems like the better the player, the more negatives .. doesn't make any sense. Jealousy? I seriously doubt the negatives are coming from better players.

  • Thanks Doug i'm reinspired..I think I might actually have a chance at being a better player thanks to you!

  • which is the song of the beginning?

  • 4:00 = Now, we do the same thing on a bass lol

  • "Cheater" technique?

Oh, no no no...scaring people to death with your guitar is not cheating.

It's not fair, but it is not cheating.

    "Guitar Hero" is cheating.

  • muy bueno!!!

  • GREAT...!!!

  • hey doug donny t here i greatly appreciare what you offer to us measily guitar players! sometime when you have time check out the rollie t band right here on you tube. thanxs

  • wow!!! i am gonna pick the livin shit out of my guitar!!!! all joking aside... i have watched all your vids...you are a guitar players guitar player...

  • Doug is the man! If you have a hard time with any aspect of country lead, buy his videos! I've learned so much from them!

  • Doug!

You are really cool, I tried out some of this on my acoustic, bluegrass-style, and it works great. Thanks!

  • This is a super video. Thank you for taking the time to make it! Came upon you by accident. Glad I did. Take care.

  • Doug Seven is a walking encyclopedia of country/blues/chicken pickin' licks and riffs.

If you haven't bought his videos yet, you're missin' out.

  • Doug, I want to learn how to Which one should I get?

  • Albert Lee does the "cheater lick" all the time

  • wanna be danny gatton

  • I'm a Doug 7 subscriber and this guy just kills! Great player with sweet tone.

  • doug is so good. the things he shows us we would never figure out. thanks doug

  • Stop being so humble, you friggin rock Doug!

  • I just signed up with the Free Vids!! Thank you so much for all the Vids They are Amazing!!! Props Dude!!!

  • I love this guy, seriously...

  • very nice tone what amp is that?

  • Yeah good question...I was wondering the exact same thing. What amp are you using? And what other amps do you like for Tele playing? Thanks!

  • I'm not sure if he's using it in these videos, but I remember him saying on one of his gear lessons that he uses a Mesa Lonestar

  • It looks like a Mesa in the new video with the pedal steel player. I can't tell if it's Lonestar or not but, that makes sense.

  • If I remember correctly in one of his videos he said something about playing directly into his pc using modeling software.

  • This is so fuckin cool. Well, I think nething that has 2 do w guitars is cool lol

  • This lesson is also a great demonstration of moving patterns SYSTEMATICALLY through a scale. It's a really important part of jazz, classical, and country music.

  • my hero !!!!!!!!!

  • Hey Doug. You definitely have this one style down pretty good. I'd be interested to see what else you can do. Steel licks, tasteful ballad licks, Jazz/blues, etc.

  • this guy is great

  • WOW

  • A pleasure to watch! Great fun!

  • Great learning vid.

  • !!!!!Pour jouer comme ça il faut le petit instrument pour le doigt? Comme s'apelle, pour l'acheter. Bon bien joues, bon continuation!!!!!

  • !!!!!Bien joue, felicitations!!!!!

  • Hey! I like your cheater technique! I stink at those fast banjo rolls (been playing over 20 years, but rock/pop mostly). I've done tons of double stop stuff and this is a nice easy was for me to grad some of that type of sound.

I'd love to see the neck better so I can cop the positions quicker! Great stuff.

  • your teaching is easy learned..george.....

  • Thanks Doug,I play metal but I think I can incorporate your stuff.thanks again.

  • Wow! You are sizzling, indeed! Albert Lee: look out. And you are a great teacher as well. 5*****

  • Great lesson! It almost seems possible now.

  • Hey Doug..Awesome as usual! Great tone - What's your setup?
