I agree - a swing thru double cork is most certainly not a gymnastics technique - and gymnastics does not teach linking tricks like this. While its true that a round off doubletwist is certainly a gymnastics trick, we are well out of gymnastics territory when this is linked to a swing thru doublecork - a trick which in a year of training at a proffesional level gymnastics gym, I have never seen performed by a gymnast.

I'm sorry no, for the most part I can't stand gymnastics.

What we do is called tricking, try youtube "Anis Cheurfa" to get an idea of what it's all about. While the sport certainly does feature elements of gymnastics, we are all self taught, learning skills (much like the one in this video) you by no means would find any "good" gymnast throwing "daily".

I have never seen a gymnast of ANY level throw a swing through double cork (That's the 900 twist in the video following the cartwheel back double full) from ANYTHING.

When I told you I couldn't stand gymnastics for the most part, the "Most part" I was referring to was the other 90% of the sport which consists of uneven bars, balance beam, vault, high bar and parallel bars, still rings, and of course pommel horse. In my opinion, while the individuals performing are talented, the apparatuses involved restrict creativity and let's not forget, look really gay.
